It all happened so fast. She was sitting there with Daryl, looking into his eyes. Realizing, that there was a small chance, that he could have feelings for her. All she said was "Oh," but inside she her thoughts were twisting and turning. She didn'tknow how to react. That Daryl could ever view her as anything other than a child, or a burden. Before she could say anything else, she and Daryl heard barking. "'m gonna give that mutt one more chance." Daryl said, grabbing a jar of pigs feet. He got up and headed to the door. She sat there, and let a small smile creep on her face. Her heart was beating and she thought about what to say to him when he got back. There were so many things she could say, but the one thing that came to mind was-

"Beth! Beth!" She heard him call, snapping her out of her thoughts. Quickly she shot up, and grabbed his ran to the door, and saw him back against it. She quickly tossed him his bow. "RUN!" He yelled, waving his arm, shooing her away. "RUN!" He yelled again, turning around and getting ready for the herd to break in. She didn't know what to do. As the door opened and they poured in Daryl ran back towards her. She turned around, and stayed back as the walkers followed Daryl.

"Out through the window! Grab your shit!" Daryl called to her.

"I'm not going to leave you!" Beth replied. She would do whatever it took to not lose another person close to her. She couldn't take it.

"Go out towards the road, I'll meet you there!" He screamed back.

She nodded to herself, running to the window they made as their emergency escape route. She quickly gathered her bag, and then pried the window up. She looked, making sure there weren't any walkers close by, and then jumped out. She landed on the ground and started to run, dodging and killing a few walkers. She kept herself aware of her surroundings as she watched for any signs of Daryl. She heard something behind her, and before she could turn around, a hand grabbed her. Beth screamed and twisted herself, ready to jam her knife into the walkers head. She gasped as she realized the person was alive. She looked at him and started to say something, but he suddenly pulled her away, and forced her to start running with him.

"W-wait, my friend!" She screamed, trying to pry his hand off of her.

"He's dead." The man said, stabbing a walker in the head with his free hand.

"NO!" Beth screamed as she clawed at him now, doing anything she could to get away. "He's strong, he can handle whatever comes at him! We have to help!" He let go of her and turned around quickly.

"No way anyone can handle that herd. He's gone." The man said.

"I'm not leaving him." She glared and went to turn around, but then fell to the ground as something hard hit her in the back of the head. She groaned in pain, trying to get up, but felt so dizzy. Her world was spinning, and she could feel someone pick her up. He was mumbling something, but Beth couldn't make it out.

"Daryl," She said weakly as she heard a car pull up to them. "No." She tried to move, but couldn't. He must have hit her hard because her head was pounding. He put her in the backseat, and slammed the door. Beth sat up, rubbing her head, and turning. She saw Daryl come out of the house. "Daryl!" She yelled, suddenly getting some of her strength back. "He made it! My friend! Please, stop!" She begged, turning to the men in the front of the car.

"Stop? Ha, who do you think led those rotters here?" One laughed, and the other smirked at her. Beth raised an eyebrow, and turned back as the started to drive off. Beth held back her tears as she turned around, and watched Daryl run after them. She thought about unlocking the door and jump out, but they were going too fast, and if she did she knew she would get seriously hurt. Daryl's figure got farther and farther away, and Beth closed her eyes, letting herself cry.
