"When will this meeting ever end?" Sakura wondered,restlessly burying her head in her arms. This mission prep couldn't end soon enough. It didn't help that she was looking up at the clock every other minute, either.
"… and that concludes the…" Sakura inwardly groaned, this thing would never end.
With mild amusement Sakura noticed that it was her old sensei's turn to speak. "Hello and welcome to…" "God Kakashi you are so boring," Sakura muttered under her breath earning a snicker from Naruto and Kiba.
"Sakura Haruno must act as a… her success determines the mission's success."
"Did he say my name?" Sakura thought panicked.
"Kakashi, what do I have to do?" Sakura asked flushing while some ANBU members muffled their laughter.
"Haruno, you have a double agent like position, we suspect Sand is holding several of our top ANBU ninjas.we want you to get them to trust you and pick up any information you collect, then if ordered to you will lead a small scale attack on some of their forces."
"You all have two weeks to prepare for this mission. This prep is over, see you in two weeks."
Sakura walked towards the room's exit with Ino, Naruto, and Kiba following.
"See you Sakura," Kakashi winked, or blinked, she couldn't really tell with the headband covering his other eye.
She waved goodbye, despite her confusion.
A/N: First fic, more edited and cleaned. I'm not going to ask you to read the same chapter again, because chances are that since you are reading this you have read the fic unless you are a lunatic that gets on for the sole purpose of looking at author notes, but I will ask you to please review and give me some constructive criticism and some pointers and maybe ideas for later chapters.
