Thirty three year old Marina climbed off the Knight Bus in Hogsmede. Ruffleing her dark hair slightly she yawned and headed towards the school where the funeral was being held. It took her an hour and when she finally got there she saw a few people standing there at the casket. She didn't expect to see that many. Not everyone knew what kind of life he lived. What kind of person he truly was when he was away from all this. A tear slipped down her cheek as she stood next to the coffin as they were lowering it into the ground.

Everyone stared at the woman. She was beautiful. She had a slender graceful body a petite nose full lips and dark eyes that would pull you in. She wore a pair of black jeans a dark blue shirt that said Got potions and a Slytherin tie.

"Who are you?" A dark haired boy asked. Marina knew who this was. Harry potter. She had heared many tales about him but right now she wanted everyone to leave her alone.

"No one." She said sadly looking at the head stone. "Severus T. Snape." It held his birth year and death year. "You didn't get to show everyone who you really are did you luv?" She asked kneeling next to the headstone. The grave was finished so she knelt down and took her wand out. Ginny looked to Harry as Minerva came across the hill.

"Marina?" She asked shocked. Marina looked over her shoulder at the woman before attending the stone.

"There that suits you more my love. See you in another life." No one was able to see the head stone as she stood and turned to face Minerva. "Hey Professor. Why didn't anyone tell me? I had to hear about it in the newspaper that my..." Minerva went to the woman and gave her a hug.

"No one knew how to tell you he died. But he is a war hero and if there is anything we can do..." Marina looked up and shook her head.

"There is one thing. Protect those kids that come through here. Don't let them feel so alone they have to go to a madman like Tom Riddle."

"Are you going to stay around?" Marina shook her head.

"No I have to get back home to Ellie. I couldn't bring her here. She is with Twinkle." Everyone around them was confused. Who was this person. "Well I have to get going. See ya later." She turned back to the grave and took a picture out of her pocket. With a wave of her hand she glued it to the stone. "Of better times love. Better times. When you more than a pawn in a stupied war!" She said bitterly before heading off. They all watched her leave. It was Harry who went to the headstone.

Severus T. Snape

Loveing Husband and father

A good man hidden by war

Everyone was silent. Harry turned to Minerva. "Snape was married?" Minerva nodded.

"Yes and he has a daughter named Ellie. She turned five years old yesterday." Harry's face fell. Yesterday the day Snape died. "Marina and Severus had to keep their wedding a secret in order to protect all three of them. But in the end it only hurt them." Harry wrapped his arm around Ginny. No one knew that the bat of the dungeon had a wife or a duaghter. They all knew he had been a spy but they never thought he would be protecting much more than the light. He was protecting his light. His family. Everyone walked away seeing the war hero in a new light a better one.
