The world she was raised in involved old wooden houses and the never ending stretch of trees. She was raised in the mountain provinces of Japan, and barely knew what was waiting for her beyond the dense forest. Sakura's family lived a simple lifestyle. They ate from the bounties of the forest and never ask for anything more. The Haruno household was certainly isolated from society.
Everything changed when a traveler came. A tall man, probably in his twenties, came (or rather got lost in the forest and somehow managed to find his way) their humble abode. He looked famished and his once elegant clothes look ragged. After reaching the gate, he collapsed, waking up three days later.
Sasuke Uchiha was a noble man. Yes, he is. He was raised among blue bloods, surely his elegant features are enough evidence of the luxury he lived in. Most commoners didn't have fair skin and beautiful hair. He is one of Edo's most handsome and eligible bachelors, and he belonged in a family whose assets are beyond a commoner's comprehension. However, no matter how rich or handsome Sasuke is, he doesn't have a sense of direction.
That is why a simple walk in his great aunt's gardens brought him to the dense forest of Japan's mountainous regions. He has been searching for days for the way back home, but alas, he has no sense of direction in that beautiful body of his. Poor Sasuke had to eat off the forest (which is a first for him. Young master is used to eating high quality meats and vegetables and drinking the finest sake Japan had to offer.) . So for the sake of his withering handsome body, he really, really had to find a way to get back to his aunt's palace before she reports that her nephew is missing to the main castle.
Fortunately for him, before his body could die and wither to nothingness, he stumbled upon the Haruno household. The Haruno household is not a tiny hut. It's a big wooden palace situated in the mountains. It is considered humble and simple for the lack of furniture inside. There are no comfortable satin covered beds, or gold plated tables, or any of those expensive furniture people like to collect. If you think about it, it actually looks like it was designed for monks to live in. Sasuke found himself in one of the huge empty rooms with a homemade pillow and bed. Did I mention the huge slug beside him?
"AAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Poor Sakura almost dropped the basket of eggs she was carrying because of their "visitor's" loud scream.
"Sa-chan! I think he's awake," said Kimu as he emerged from the kitchen. The little boy was mildly shaken from the loud screaming man upstairs.
"Kamu-kun, bring the eggs to big brother. I'll go check on him."
"Okidoki!" Komu accepted the basket with delight and ran back to the kitchen.
"Be careful!"
With half of her chores done for the day, Sakura made her way to the visitor's room. She had a feeling that said visitor is still a bit shaken from whatever it is he saw in the room, afterall, he looks like
he's going to jump off the balcony.
"What the hell are you doing?!!!"
