Edward Elric had laughed at the Colonel when he told him about a strange girl trapping him in a room for an "interview". He thought Roy had been trying to trick him. But now the exact girl Roy had described stood before him smiling, eyes looking Ed up and down.
"Hello. Are you….Edward Elric?"
"Yeah. Who wants to know?"
"No time," She said quickly, then added, "May I please interview you?" Ed remembered Roy's "horrid experience" with this girl. She would get her interview one way or another.
"Sure...Why not?"
"Yay!" She exclaimed, jumping up and down, clapping her hands. It was then that Ed noticed a very familiar pair of gloves on the girl's hands. He couldn't help but smile. Poor, poor Roy.
She stopped abruptly and said, "Shall we?"
"Lead the way," Ed said reluctantly.

The two sat across from each other at a coffee shop table. The girl ordered a mocha and sat back slowly, sipping the hot beverage. Ed coughed impatiently. "Oh right. The interview. Well, I only have three questions."
"Okay, shoot."
"How do you react to the term 'Short'?"
"Who are calling short! You're shorter than me you freaky little pipsqueak!"
"I see," the girl said giggling, then continued. "Did it hurt when you lost your arm and leg?"
"No, no pain at all….Of course it hurt! My leg got ripped off!"
"Yeah, but I was thinking maybe…oh never mind. Last question Eddie. Ready?"
"…Sure."
"Will you teach me alchemy?"
"No, and if that's all I'll be off." He got up and started towards the door. Then he paused. Turning, he said, "Nice gloves."
She smiled broadly at this statement and watched the young alchemist walk away.
