The jade skinned changeling entered the cave, his footsteps echoing in the vast emptiness. He walked up to the statue, setting a dozen roses at her feet and briefly glanced at the plaque that lay there. " A Teen Titan. A True Friend" it said. He smiled, memories flooding his head. The two of them walking in the park, the sparkling deep blue color of her eyes, the sound of her laughter as he told her one of his many jokes. He could almost hear the sound of her voice, repeating over and over the last thing she ever said to him. You were the best friend I've ever had.
The voice fell silent as he came back to reality.
Finally the young teen spoke. "Hey Terra. I'm sorry I havent been down here in a while. Robin has been making us train extra hard lately. I can hardly get a minute out of the tower. Well anyway, I came here to show you something"
Beast boy brought out a guitar that had bee strapped to his back. "I learned how to play the guitar and, I kinda wrote you a song. Ok, here it goes" He started playing. His voice began softly
" Hey Terra, I remember your name. I left a dozen roses on your grave today. I'm in the grass, on my knees, wipe the leaves away. I just came to talk for awhile. Got some things I need to say.

"Hey Terra, I remembered your birthday. They said it'd bring some closure to say your name. You know I'd do it all different if I had the chance. But all I got are these roses to give and they can't help me make amends."
His voice gets louder

Tears threatened to pour down his face.

Beast boy sets the guitar on the ground. He stands eye to eye with Terra. He leans forward and kisses her cold, stone lips. A single tear slides down his cheek and lands at her feet.
"I love you Terra. I'll never forget you.
He turns and leaves the cave before Terra could see that single tear become sobs.
