After all her farm work has done, Claire decided to sit down on her green grass. It was very soft and looked very healthy, no wonder why her cows are bestsellers. She felt the wind on her body. She closed her eyes and breathed it all in, who wouldn't? She in fact received one of life's simple gifts. "Yo, farmer," called a familiar voice. It was Gray. He started to walk towards her while she stood up greeting him with her sweet smile. "You wanna go?" he asked. "Sure," she replied. Asking him the destination was pointless because she already where they were headed to. The library, of course. On their way, she can't help smile and he can't help but look. She, in fact, received another one of life's simple gifts - being able to go to a place you love and that place being so close to home. "You excited to see Mary?" teased Claire as he poked Gray's side. "Shut up," he murmured.

"Hello. Welcome to the library. Please en-" "Mary you don't have to be so formal, it's just is," says Claire with a worried smile. "Oh, sorry. I'm still not.. used to having regular readers here," Mary replies. "I thought Gray was a regular reader. Was he not?" asked Claire with a smirk while facing Gray. Before Mary could even answer, Gray took Claire by the arm and went to the 2nd floor. This is where the fiction books are kept. "Why do you always do that?" asked Gray. "Do what?" "Oh, so know you don't know." "I don't." "Those Mary things! Come on, you already know that I like y-" he stopped, his eyes now squinting as he looks at her, "What exactly are you doing? Tell me." She didn't even plan to tell him. She was already about to get a book when he added, "Please." Another one of life's simple gifts - hearing a voice sound so warm. "I like how you react," she said. He looked at her knowing there was more. "I like how you suddenly lose your cool and snap," she added. He looked away and back at her. "Ugh, I also like how you always say 'blah-blah-blah I like you' when I bring this up," she looks down feeling embarrassed. "And will you still do it?" he asked as if talking to a little girl. "Well, duh!" she replies then went down the stairs as fast as she could. Gray froze for a second and followed her. "Maaary! Mary! Gray says 'hi' and- hmhmhmhmmmmm!" He came just in time and covered her mouth. They slowly walked out the door and went back to her farm, his hand still covering her mouth. On their way, they say Cliff at the vineyard. "You know," says Gray as he removes his hand on her mouth, "you should hire Cliff to help you out here in your farm." "Yeah I think I should," she says. What his trying to do is not working. "You should go to the vineyard. Maybe he needs your help. Or maybe you should buy some wine. So you know, you'll see him. Or maybe you should-" Claire touches his cheek, "Okay Gray. I get it, I'll stop with the Mary thing," she says then smiles sincerely. Gray took her hand from his cheek and grabbed it towards his chest and then pulled Claire closer to him. She placed her tired arms around his waist. He placed his hand on her head and said "You've gotten soft lately, probably because you're always with Cliff," he smirks. "Gray!" screamed Claire, her face still buried in Gray's chest.
