This is an extension of a drabble I wrote for my drabble collection, "100 Drabbles of Harry/Hermione". Those have to be 100 words or less, but I loved the drabble so much that I decided to extend it and make it longer.

Hermione breathed in the salty beach air, basking in the calm ambiance of the setting sun over the aquamarine water. The breeze rustled the palm trees and made her shiver in her black bikini. But she was perfectly content to sit in the beach chair and not enter the water, which was sure to be much colder than the breeze.

Harry came splashing out of the waves towards her. "Come on, Mione, can't you go for one last swim with me before dinner?"

"Oh, not now, Harry, it's getting cold!"

"Hermione, it's our honeymoon. Please come in the water. Please?"

"No!"

He sighed.

"Then you give me no choice."

He scooped her up, throwing her over his shoulder, and ran towards the ocean.

"Harry!" she squealed, beating his back with her fists. "Stop it!"

He simply laughed, nearing the water with each stride.

"Harry James Potter!" she screeched. "Put me down THIS INSTANT!"

"Fine by me!" he said, and dropped her in the water, grinning.

When Hermione came back up, coughing and spluttering, she saw Harry laughing. "You should've just come in!"

She smiled evilly, pulling her wet hair away from her face.

"I'll get you yet, Harry!"

And with that, she lifted her hand and splashed him with the cold water.

"It's on!" he laughed, dodging and splashing her back.

The pair lay in the hammock together, covered in towels. Harry's arms were wrapped around Hermione's torso. She was leaning against his chest.

"How are you liking Hawaii, Mrs. Potter?" he asked her, his finger drifting lazily across her stomach.

She smiled, the familiar flutter in her stomach returning, as it did whenever he called her that. "I adore it, Mr. Potter sir."

She turned her head up to look at him. His eyes were so dreamy. She could get (and had gotten) lost in them for hours.

He looked down at her, and their eyes did all the talking.

Hermione stretched her neck up and Harry stretched his down, until their lips met in a beautiful sweet kiss that sealed the bond they had made two days before. There was none of the seductiveness, not a hint of roughness that they had seen in each other while kissing before.

Just a sweet, small kiss.

"Till death do us part."

Just a sweet little tidbit for you there. :)
