It wasn't unusual for Bruce Wayne to sweep into the offices of the Daily Planet as if he owned the place. Largely because he did, and "sweeping in" was the default mode for Gotham's prince.
His grand entrance surprised no one, least of all Lois. Beyond watching from the corner of her eye (because Bruce in full "sweep" was a glorious sight), Lois ignored his progress across the crowded bullpen.
Right up until he reached Clark's desk...
... And, with more sincerity than she'd ever seen on his too-handsome face, dropped to one knee in front of Clark.
Clark beamed.
