A/N: I just came up with the idea when I thought someone was in the room with me. When I thought of it, I didn't know whether to put this story in Chi Chi's or Gohan's point of view so I did to different versions! This story is in Chi Chi's POV.
Another Sleepless Night
I know I'm not alone. I can feel your presence lingering beside me. It's actually a nice, warm blue aura that sits on my bedside. Sometimes, I can imagine your kiss. I hope Gohan feels the same way. Did you know that you're going to have another son or daughter? I wish you were alive to see this. But sensing you works just as well.
I can imagine you sitting there and watching over me as I sleep just as you watch over our son. Not only can I imagine it, but I can feel it. Then, I wake up, expecting to see you there. I look around to see your smiling face and sparkling eyes, but I see nothing but darkness. The darkness makes me feel vulnerable and alone. Then, I feel the aura.
Even if I can't see your smile or hear your laugh, I can still sense your amazing presence on my bedside. Even if I wake up in the middle of the night, at least I can spend my sleepless night with you.
