The air surrounding Lorelai dropped then intensified as a bundle of warmth encompassed her back. Her night gown rose as several trails of blistering heat traveled up her thigh.

She smiled and caught the hand before it reached her panty line and kissed his fingertips. She turned on her side and cracked her sleep deprived eyes open.

There, lazily smiling and shirtless, lay her fiancé.

"What do you think you're doing?"

"Trying to show my lady a good time. I remember someone asking for an encore last night."

Lorelei laughed. "Oh really?"

"Yea. She was strikingly beautiful with dark hair and bright eyes. She kept saying, 'more, more.'"

"I think you're full of it."

"Oh no, I'm serious."

"Uh huh."

Suddenly a delicious wave of air hit her nose and saliva began forming in her mouth.

"Did you cook for me?" she asked.

"Yea. I had to go out and get some stuff because you had nothing in your fridge. Literally. By the way, that's going to have to be fixed before I move in."

"Oh, you are so getting the good lovin' tonight."

He groaned and Lorelai proceeded to jump out of bed and head down the stairs but was stopped when he grabbed her waist.

She turned around and he pulled her to him and kissed her lips.

"I love you, Lorelai."

"I love you too, Luke."

Lorelai jerked awake, her heart beating so hard she felt as if it would fly out of her chest.

She drew in a shaky breath, sat up and slipped her robe on, heading down stairs to get a glass of water.

Once in the kitchen she got her water and sat at the table.

"Hey Mom."

Lorelai's head shot up and she smiled as her daughter sat across from her.

"You okay?" she asked.

"Yea, just, uh, had another dream."

Rory cocked her eyebrow before getting her own glass of water.

"Again? Mom, that's like the fourth time this week."

"I know, I know." Lorelai rubbed her forehead and sighed. She knew. She couldn't get it out of her head. They kept rolling through her mind as if they were on repeat.

"What are you going to do? Have you told...?"

"No. I don't know how to tell him."

"Just tell him. Mom, you can't keep it from him."

"Rory, how do you expect me to tell my husband that I'm having dreams about another man? That I keep dreaming we're engaged or having kids or having sex in the diner?"

"TMI," she said. Lorelai smiled.

"Sorry. I'm going to tell him. I promise."

"I believe you."

They silently sat for a few moments before Rory said, "You want some coffee?"

"Oh G-d, yes!"

Two hours later, a very tired Lorelai climbed back up the stairs and crawled in bed next to her husband.

He groaned and rolled over, placing an arm around her waist. He squeezed her hip and kissed her shoulder.

"You okay?"

She smiled and nodded. "Yea, just couldn't sleep."

"Okay."

He kissed her shoulder again and rolled back over.

Lorelai sighed and shook her head, looking at the back of her husband's head. She didn't know what to do.

"I think I'm in love with someone else, Chris," she whispered before falling into another dream filled sleep.

A/N: So what do you guys think? I just finished the original GG and AYITL and thought I'd give it a shot. I know that this chapter is pretty short but I promise the others will definitely be longer. Constructive criticism is encouraged and I would really appreciate it if you left a review for me! Hope you enjoy!
