Gawd, I never thought I'd see the day where I'd be doing this, but there's nothing else to do if I want to find this story :-) I know how irksome it can be to be browsing the story listings for something to read only to come across someone's request for information, but I've run out of ideas on how to find this story, and it was pretty neat so I guess I don't want to accept defeat just yet!
So, the story is an Edward/Bella all-human pairing, and it was a multi-chapter that was about 11-12 chapters along. Most probably it was rated M, because that's what I mainly read, but there's a slight chance it was rated T. It couldn't have been lower than that though, because it had this very interesting twist in which E got his baby sister Alice to jump in the family swimming pool when he was a small child (he knew she couldn't swim), and watched her drown. The story had progressed to give us a bit more info on how he and the rest of the family were, or more like weren't, coping with this event, as well as some backstory of the lead-up to the death, and some of the events occurring after the death but before B's arrival in Forks. I also remember that Angela was cast as his therapist, the first person who got him to admit that he'd killed his sister, and that there were some aspects of Carlisle and Esme that made them somewhat objectionable characters (C in particular). Also, B is an artist in this story - she draws stuff, including portraits of E.
It was a really quirky story, obviously creepy due to the subject matter but still pretty fascinating. I had it in my faves, because it featured such an interesting plot twist that I couldn't help but be very curious about how it would turn out. But I recently realized I hadn't had an alert for it in a while so I went to look for it, but I couldn't find it. Now I'm getting scared that it's no longer on here for some reason! And I can't think of a way to find it. I mean, I'm relatively sure the title was My Immortal (like the song by Evanescence), but that's not going to help me if it's been pulled or renamed, and I can't for the life of me remember the name of the author. I searched for the title regardless, but while I found lots of entries with the same title, none even came close in terms of plot.
So if anyone remembers the story and can point me in the direction of either it or the author, or really give me any clue to help me trace this, I'd really appreciate it :-)
Thanks in advance for any help!
PS: 'sororicide' means 'murder of a sister' ;-)
