People say that love is magical. They say it is the language the deaf can hear, a song the mute can sing, a rhythm the crippled can dance to, and a sunset the blind can see. They are wrong. They can say that because they have never truly loved someone. Love is painful, its like a puppy; your best friend throughout its entire life until it passes away. Once its gone, you have nothing left in you, you're just an empty shell.
'Stupid puppy, risking your life for mine. See where that got you?'
. . .
'Stupid puppy you may be...but you're my stupid puppy. My love and my life.'
People cry and mourn over the fact their lover broke up with them. Lucky them. They can move on and be happy. So can the other person. They eventually go on and find another partner. Breaking up with someone and much more bearable than watching them leave you for the other world. Having to witness death is a scarring experience. Seeing your most beloved treasure go, how do people still smile afterward.
'Now that you're gone, what do I do with my life? You were the reason for my life, the reason I was able to trust. You taught me love and how to make friends. I learned the true meaning of strength from you.'
Sometimes, you just miss someone so much it hurts. Knowing you'll never see them again makes it all the more painful, like an arrow shot through you're heart. What makes you regret everything though, is the fact you never got to tell them the thing you wanted to get out most.
'Kagome, I'll see you soon. I love you.'
And with that, Inuyasha allowed the demon's sword to slice through his heart.
A/N: thanks to everyone who took the time to read this! ^^ this is my first inuyasha fanfic. i saw this 'love is magical. its the deaf the language the deaf can hear...and a sunset the blind can see' quote on a website and i just had to make a story about it. so i decided, why not use my favorite anime of all time? anyway, i hoped you enjoyed it :) comment if you want me to make a full fanfic about this 3
