It was a beautiful day at The Xavier's School for Gifted Mutant's. Logan was looking out the window of school and was thinking about some stuff when a knock on the door broke his train of thought. Come in he said, Laura came in wearing her workout clothes after a sparring match with Julian which went well since she was now starting to get a understanding on how people say stuff they mean and don't mean. You wanted to see me Dad she said, she never called that excepted when they when out riding on their separate hogs when he told her to ease up on the throttle that it was not a mission just a cruise don't the countryside. Yeah kiddo I wanted to talk about some stuff that we never really had the chance to talk about what with our lives and stuff. Laura was looking at him wondering if she did something wrong like when she and Julian snuck out during curfew and took a walk. What did you want to talk about? Laura asked with a serious tone in her voice. Well I never told you how much you've grown since we first met each other when you were going though your problems. Laura smiled she knew it was since she beat him in a fight with her strategic planning. I know you said never to bring up this kind of stuff since it's a touchy subject with you. Logan continued, I just want you to know that if anything were to happen to me that you'll be alright. Because the last thing I want is you going down a dark path and almost hurt yourself. I think that if you wanted to know more about me that you start with Dog because he'll tell you something's that will make you think that I was a cool dude. Dad I understand what your saying- Laura was about to say. Just know that I care about you kid- Logan said cutting her off. I know dad. Laura said with happiness in her voice. Now how about we go grab a couple cold ones and a bar I know?-Logan asked with a slyness in his voice. Okay but we need a designated driver if we do.-Laura said in a matter of fact voice. Okay I'll talk Scott or Hank into coming with us.-Logan said while getting up from his seat.
