Book 1
Prologue
"Scar." Akimana called softly from inside the den. Scar slowly padded in. The two greyish-brown cubs looked up at their father.
"Oh, they adorable." He said. The little boy cub, stood up and ran over to his father.
"Young, Nuka." He said, pawing at the little one.
"Scar what are you going to call the other one?" Akimana asked walking towards Scar.
"I'll name her after you. Akira." The little girl cub, tried to get up but kept on falling down. They laughed.
"Well, my brother Mufasa should know about this." Scar said before he left.
*time change*
A couple days later, Akira sat in the corner of the den where her parents couldn't see her. Her father was backing her mother into a corner. He took his big paw and swiped at her. He hit her so hard her head smashed into the rock wall and fell limply to the ground.
Akira tried to hold back a whimper. Her mother was dead. Scar drug his wife out of the den to someplace else.
