Stepping onto the black steel plate, I shivered as I felt the peculiar sensation of my molecules dissolving and streaming into the computer. I had decided to go in person, since sending my avatar to tell him that he never should have existed cruel somehow. Plus, DiZ could stop my avatar program anytime he wanted to and disappearing into nothing in the middle of a conversation about the right of a Nobody to exist would be a terrible blow to his already fragile sanity.

Reappearing in the middle of the Sandlot, I brushed my hair out of my eyes and walked to the rankings board. Stretching out my hand tentatively, I carefully listened to the hum of the Code with my fingertips. Something was not right. Someone had invaded the program and twisted some of the lines of code. I sucked in a nervous breath of air and quickly located Roxas using a simple search program I had created a few weeks ago just in case of emergencies such as this.

To my surprise, the program told me he was standing right behind me. I whipped around but no one was there. Frowning slightly, I examined the Code more closely. He was right behind me…and about four days in the past. I finally recognized the strange code that was altering the fabric of Twilight Town…it was a time stop program! Slowly inserting my fingers in a loose part of the Code, I gradually pulled open a hole and slipped through.

Imagining DiZ's face as I disappeared from the monitors, I smiled in satisfaction. The Organization really was his mental equal. Hiding Roxas in the past was a brilliant move. Roxas not showing up on the monitors for several days was not unusual, and unless DiZ examined the Code more closely like I had he would never sense that anything was out of place in all the lines of code running the false Twilight Town. Time also distorted everything, like staring at the sky from under murky water. Their actions could go undetected for days before anything would be recorded in the program as out of place.

Deep in thought, I nearly collided with Pence and Olette as they cheered Roxas on. The struggle match was today? That was always where the Code was loosest too… Looking around rapidly, I was able to spot Axel lurking in a dark corner, silently watching the match. Oh no…I had to tell DiZ! If they interrupted or hurt Roxas during the final memory assimilation process Sora would be affected as well!

Lightly brushing my hands over the backs of Olette's and Pence's necks, I swiftly altered their codes. Wordlessly, they turned around and bowed to me. Bowing back, I implanted new directives in their minds. Straightening, they nodded once and casually walked off toward the old mansion. Hopefully, they would make it to DiZ in time.

Before Axel could see me in the crowd, I skillfully portaled onto the roof of the low building behind me. Sitting down on the edge, I tucked my legs up under myself and settled down to watch the match. This was going to be very interesting.
