You found me underneath a tree
Looking like a hollow-boned little bird
My tears were there for you to see
You took my tears away
Sweeping them with your fingertips
You led them astray
My head was suddenly lost in the pink flowers
A gift from you, dropped from above
It was liquid fire yet a spring shower
And for a while
Our heads were lost in the clouds
I never lost my smile
But then came the dark stallion in our path
A beautiful site at first
Little did we know this stallion would be like a shark in a bath
He became a large mountain in the east
So large that I could no longer see you
He was hard to get around although he was not a beast
When you saw me your eyes lit up
You greeted me formally
Later we had to cup
Our powers in our hands
A fight was about to start
The time to put on the bands
Our efforts were in vain
Although we worked so hard
By the end we looked almost insane
In the end I couldn't help it anymore
I couldn't hate you for the stallion, there was no need to act, no need to fake
I cried so hard my eyes felt sore
So I walked toward the tree
You were there
I waved so you could see me
Gliding across the fields, I came a little closer
My arms thrown behind my shoulders
Feet thudding a little harder
Soon I reached you
And you opened up for a hug
I knew what to do
We sat on the ground
Our eyes gazed back to the mountain
But now we knew we'd be around
For each other
Maybe we'd fight now and then
Yet we both would die for one another
Every now and then I glance back at the stallion, wishing that I did not
I knew it was a lost cause
I didn't feel like being with him, since I would be trapped, caught
