The Fault in our stars

Gus woke up in bed, a long, bright stream of light filtering into the room. He was comfortable. Although, he was missing a little something. The space beside him on the bed was empty. He hated it.

Augustus got up, clad in plaid pants, a wife beater tank top and a ring. What?

He made his way to the bathroom, grooming his hair back with his fingers. He searched through the many drawers only to find that most were things a girl would have; make-up, hair brushes, all kinds of stuff. But on one shelf there was a basket labeled, Gus. He took it out, and found a grey beanie. He put it on and walked out into the kitchen.

All the lights were turned on and things were running, a coffee pot brewing, and a pack of his cigarettes lying on the counter. GUs looked on, slightly weirded out.

"Hey babe, foods in the oven." He heard from the family room. He quickly whirled round. And stood stock still, shocked beyond belief. There sat a very pregnant, very beautiful girl.

She was wearing 3 quater grey sweatpants, and one of Gus's beloved sweatshirts, stretched over her big stomach. He sputtered, but couldn't get the words out. SHe was perfect again.

"You okay? You're lookin a little weird." SHe said, waddling over to him, pressing a cool hand on his forehead. He smiled and pushed away her cold hand. He placed his own palms flat against her belly.

"I'm fine. How are you?" He asked. She smiled up at him, and he got a fluttering feeling in his chest, and before you think about it, no, it's not the cancerous kind of flutter.

"Fine. He's kicking really hard today, that's why I'm up right now." She told him. He smiled and kissed her on the crook of her neck.

"I'm sure you'll be fine. SO he's a he?" He questioned. SHe smiled and nodded.

AND THEN, HE WOKE UP
