The wounded warrior ran into the forest and collapsed near a fallen tree. He took his hand off his chest and looked at his newly acquired wound. It was large and deep, resulting in another blood pour with each painful breath.
He Couldn't Believe He Lost
The Hero On Death's Doorstep
His Mission Failed
Resisting the urge to close his eyes and fall asleep, The Hero focuses on trying to stay alive, despite all the pain that continued to course through his weakening form.
But he knew each breath he took brought him closer and closer to death.
But The Hero did not want to die.
He will never be remembered as the one who traveled all over the land, risking his life time and time again.
Giving in to exhaustion, The Hero closes his eyes and takes one deep painful breath.

It's The Birth Of A Legacy
A Legacy Just As Strong
The Hero opens his eyes and immediately notices that he is now a skeletal figure with centuries old armor and weapons.
What had happened to The Hero?
Before he could even try to understand his predicament, The Hero felt himself changing into a completely different form.
He found himself encased in a crystal of pure gold.
Once the crystal shattered, The Hero found himself to be a beautiful, majestic, Golden Wolf.
A Skeletal Figure, then a Golden Wolf…
Was The Hero cursed in some way?

It Is No Curse Of Any Kind
But Rather A True Fate
One That Was Never Realized
The Time Draws Near
After regaining his skeletal form, The Hero soon realizes that this and the Golden Wolf are one in the same.
They are him…
But he wasn't scared or feeling any emotion at all.
Looking into the distance, he sees Hyrule Castle behind clear white fog in a pure white world.
The Hero is no longer in the present time.
He was in the future, centuries later.

The Legacy Begins Now
Leaving the world as The Golden Wolf, he sits in front of a forest clearing, soon to be met by the newest Hero…
The one that takes the form of a blue-eyed beast.
