The Days After Tale of the Brave Starring Percy, Thomas and James

note: I have seen Tale of the Brave and saw that Percy was quite unhappy about so I thought do a story on how his friends help him deal with it for a while.

Percy was feeling sad.

"I really wish Gator stayed a little longer so I could get to know him a little better." he sighed.

"Gator is a great train all right." smiled Duck. "Don't worry Gator will come back no doubt about it."

"He really helped Percy feel brave." agreed Emily.

"That's true he did but you have to be brave to say goodbye to someone." puffed Percy.

"That's wise." puffed Edward.

"It is." puffed Thomas.

"Did Gator tell you that?" asked Henry.

"No I thought of that myself." replied Percy.

"Cool dude." smiled James. "I better pull the Flying Kipper since I told the Fat Controller why I left the scrap."

"I just wish I could see Gator soon." sighed Percy.

"You'll see him soon Percy." said Oliver.

"I hope so." puffed Percy as he went off to do the mail.

As he did the Mail Run that night he saw loads of different things he saw some eyes glowing and saw they were rabbits.

"I'm sorry rabbits I thought you were monsters." he apolgized to the rabbits and the rabbits hopped on to Percy so Percy puffed on and saw the clothesline, the shed, the haystack and even saw a frog in the tunnel because of his lamp. "Gator taught me well."

next day Percy returned the rabbits to the forest where Thomas and James were.

"Managed to brave the night again?" smiled Thomas.

"Yup." smiled Percy.

"Good to hear." smiled James.

"I just wish Gator could have seen this." sighed Percy with a smile.

"We'll ask the Fat Controller if Gator could come back for a visit one day." promised Thomas and James.

"Thanks." puffed Percy.

So all three engines puffed to Knapford.

"Sir please can Gator come back for a visit someday?" asked Percy, Thomas and James.

"Of course he can but only when we need him." replied the Fat Controller.

A few months later...

"Percy Gator is coming back." smiled Thomas.

"Infact he is here." smiled James.

Then Gator puffed up.

"Hello Percy." smiled Gator.

"Hello Gator." smiled Percy and the other engines cheered happily that Percy was reunited with Gator.
