Summary: Nick and Dana have been married for about two years. They have 2 daughters, Louise (their 2 year old) and Annie (their 6 year old). It's new years day which means a fresh start at a new year. (I hope y'all enjoy reading this.)

A fresh start for the New Year.
Chapter 1: Another new beginning.
it's 8:00am when Nick's alarm clock goes off. He hits the snooze button and rolls over to face his beautiful wife.
Nick: Good morning beautiful, how was your night?
Dana: opens her eyes and smiles good, i got to spend it with you, didnt i?
Nick: kisses her
Dana: cuddles close to him
Just when they get comfortable, louise begins to cry
Dana: sighs I guess I'd better go get her. We dont want her waking Annie up. gets out of bed and goes down the hall into louise's room
Louise: stands up in her crib with her arms streched out to dana
Dana: Apparently someone's ready to get up. picks louise up and brings her over to the changing table
Nick: enters the room Hey honey, im gonna go downstairs and whip us up some breakfast. I've got to be at work in about an hour. Would you like me to make anything special?
Dana: changes louise's diaper No, just make whatever you feel like. I'll eat anything.
Nick: ok kisses his wife and goes downstairs to make some pancakes
Dana: follows him shortly after
Nick: Wow that was quick. I didnt realize you were right behind me.
Dana: yeah, well thats because im sneaky. smiles & puts louise in her high chair
Nick: So, how many pancakes shall I make you?
Dana: Oh, two is usually my limit. I'm not big on eating breakfast.
Nick: Alright, two for you, two for me, louise will prolly eat one. How many do you think annie will eat?
Dana: Probably one, maybe two. Speaking of annie--i should prolly go wake her up. stands up
Nick: Yeah, thats probably a good idea.
Dana: goes upstairs and into annie's room Annie, sweetie...its time to wake up. We are going to visit nana and pop pop today. pulls the covers off of annie
Annie: mommy, five more minutes. takes her covers back
Dana: No. Daddy is downstairs making you breakfast. pulls the covers back off annie lets go.
Annie: ignores her mothers request
Dana: Annabelle Nicole...I said get up. Dont make me ask you again.
Annie: sighs yes mam...gets up and follows dana down to the kitchen
Nick: Good morning princess. kisses annie on the head how many pancakes would you like for breakfast?
Annie: only one daddy. i'm not that hungry.
Nick: alright. makes annie her pancakes & gives them to her
Dana: sits down and eats her pancakes
Louise: eats her pancake
Nick: watches louise make a mess Wow, someone is gonna need a bath after this.
Dana: Yeah, she definatly is gonna need a bath. laughs
Annie: eats her pancakes daddy, can i have a drink please?
Nick: of course, what would you like?
Annie: Juice please.
Nick: gets annie some juice be careful not to spill. looks at the clock oh wow, i didnt realize how late it was. I've gotta get ready for work. Dana, just leave that stuff in the sink and I'll take care of it when I come home. Alright?
Dana: ok, u better go get ready.
Nick: goes up to shower and get ready for work
