-1Zhegorz: Infant

"Congratulations. It's a boy." The midwife told the Lady Mother. Lady Harutina, weary as anything accepted the small bundle, looking down at the wailing face. "I name you Zhegorz, and may the god's of the sky watch over you always." She intoned formally. Every child was named, then blessed for different elements. The second son? Air.

She handed him over to the nurse to suckle and laid back in her bed, closing her eyes and falling asleep. Thank the heavens that was over. Was there anything more annoying and painful then the obligation of giving birth?

The mid-wife left, collecting her fee from the steward of the house. The Nurse took baby Zhegorz to his nursery, nursing him as she sunk into a rocking chair. Jimay, the older lad ran up to her. He was only four, wee thing. He laid his hands on her knees and jumped up and down. "Is that him, Nurse? Is that my brother?"

"Yes, wee sir, this is your brother Zhegorz." Nurse said, pulling Zhegorz away from her chest and moving him down to eye level with his older brother.

"He's awful small." Said Jimay critically, poking his younger brother in the side, causing him to whimper. "And sensitive." He sniffed, the picture of young male disdain.

"He'll grow out of it, sir. He's just a baby. Soon you two will be cavorting around the grounds, and learning how to be older sirs together." The Nurse told him. Jimay's face softened a bit and he patted Zhegorz on the head.

"Welcome to the family."
