Harry, Ron, and Hermione were all sitting in the Gryffindor common room talking. All of a sudden Ron burst out, "Let's go sneak into Filch's room and put some of the Custard Cremes that Fred and George made so he'll turn into a frog when he eats them!" "Sure, that sounds like fun, but I hope we don't get caught!" Said Hermione. "We'll use my invisibility cloak," said Harry. "I'll go get it right now!" Harry goes and looks through his trunk for his cloak. He comes back looking scared. "What happened to you and where's your cloak?" Hermione asked. Harry replied, "I have no idea!" "Darn! I really wanted to see Filch turn into a frog! It would be funny," said Ron. SLAP "Ouch, said Ron, Hermione, why did you slap me?" "How could you be thinking about having fun? Harry's cloak is gone! That means someone is lurking around the school unseen exclaimed Hermione." "Oh" said Ron. That night Harry couldn't sleep. He kept wondering what happened to his cloak. He finally drifted off to sleep. But, he had a dream that someone was lurking around stealing things, rare and magical things. He wished He knew what it meant. The next morning he woke with a start. Ron and Hermione were standing over him. "W-whats wrong?" Harry asked. "Harry, you missed breakfast and its 10 min. until Herbology! Get up NOW!" Exclaimed Hermione running out of breath. Harry jumped out of bed and was dressed and ready in three minutes.
Harry, Ron, and Hermione raced down the corridors to Herbology and got there just in time! Prof. Sprout looked really odd that day. As they split into groups (Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Parvati) Ron whispered," Whats wrong with Sprout? He looks like he's about to die or something." At that moment Prof. Sprout said," Class, today we were going to learn how to gather the magic in the trunk of the polka-dotted tree, but last night my trees and tools got stolen. I have searched everywhere, but couldn't find them! So, today, you have free time to study for your test tomorrow, (Groan) or read, or just talk." "Oh my gosh" said Hermione. "I bet whoever stole his trees and tools stole Harry's cloak." Their next class was potions. Harry didn't really like potion class. He started to do some homework he forgot to do last night for Snape until the class was over. After Herbology was over, Harry, Ron, and Hermione raced to Potions. They knew Snape would be really mad if they were late. Snape came and opened the door so everyone could go in. (After him) "Snape looks really pale today said Hermione" after they sat down. "I know", said Harry and Ron. Snape looked at Harry, Hermione, and Ron and growled "10 points from Gryffindor, for talking." The Ravenclaw class started laughing. Then Snape said "today we will learn how to make the purple potion." Hermione raised her hand. "What is it, Mudblood?" He growled. Hermione asked furiously "What is the purple potion?" "That is for me to know and you to find out!" He snarled. "Oh yeah 20 points from Gryffindor for asking such a stupid question!" said Snape. As Snape went to his desk to get the ingredients for the purple potion something fell out of his desk. Ron, Harry, and Hermione's mouth fell open! For what they saw astonished them!
