I'm back with another fanfic! This is my version of what I think would happen if Adrien found out Ladybug's identity, and the story that follows.
Disclaimer: I do not own Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir ( Although it would be cool if I did! ).
"I've figured it out, Plagg!" Adrien exclaimed, startling his kwami who was eating cheese. "Can't a kwami eat cheese in peace!?" Plagg questioned. "Umm... NO. Listen! You see this?" Plagg turned towards Adrien to see him gesturing to a part of his wall that he had decorated with pictures of Marinette, Ladybug, and other information. Everything was connected with string.
"What nonsense are you up to this time?" Plagg asked, staring at the obviously confusing diagram. Adrien started to explain, "Back yesterday, when Ladybug and I were out on patrol, she smiled at me -"
"So you've figured out you're lovesick?"
"NO! Listen, when she smiled at me, I realized that I have seen the smile before, but at the time, I couldn't tell where. I realized that if I had seen the smile before, I could have seen it at school. I went through the yearbook and when I saw Marinette's picture, I saw that the smile looked identical. I examined it further and realized the hair, eyes, and skin tone are also the same." Adrien explained, pointing to specific parts of the diagram. Then, he continued. "now then again, this proves a lot, but not everything. There could just be a girl who looks a lot like Marinette who is actually Ladybug."
Adrien took out his phone and played two recordings. The first one was where Marinette said, "Hey Alya! What's up?" And the second one, Ladybug saying, "hi Kitty, how's it going?" Adrien then rambled on about how if you listened to them carefully, they sounded the same.
Plagg had tuned out Adrien a long time ago, and as soon as Adrien found out, he yelled, "Plagg! Pay attention!"
"But I don't care what you're talking about." The kwami answered plainly.
"So, I guess you don t care that I'm telling Marinette I know she is Ladybug and telling her I'm Cat Noir."
"WHAAT?!"
The next day...
Marinette is talking with Alya, and she doesn't notice Adrien come up behind her. This is the reason she jumped a meter high when Adrien had tapped her shoulder and said, "Hi, Marinette" "Oh, h-hi A-Adrien" she stuttered, her face turning a shade of red. Adrien just then realized how cute Marinette looked when she stuttered.
"I want to talk to you." Adrien said, "can we... Go somewhere?" Adrien asked, nervous. "Ummm..." Marinette didn't know how to respond. "Come on girl, this is your chance! Go!" Alya whispered in Marinette's ear before she pushed her towards Adrien. "Yes?" Marinette replied quietly. Adrien gestured for her to follow him, but for Marinette, everything was happening so fast her mind couldn't comprehend what was going on, so she froze. It was only when Alya gave her a good push that she moved from her spot and followed Adrien.
The next thing that Marinette knew was that she was at the park, sitting on a bench, with Adrien beside her. Marinette's face was still a little red. "So, Marinette, I have something I wanted to ask you, but you have to tell me the truth. Promise?" Marinette nodded, not trusting her voice to get the message across. Adrien paused for a moment, gathering his courage before he asked, "Are you Ladybug?"
