Hey guys! So sorry I haven't gotten the chance to write in a long time. Anyway, I am starting a contest to pick the next co-host on Good Morning Oz. If you are interested in entering, please read on.
If you are interested, you must PM me as soon as possible. Only ten contestants can be on the show. I am warning you, please do not hesitate to sign up. Whenever I do these types of things, they fill up fast. I may take more than ten, but that is only if I get a lot of people who want to sign up. If you sign up, and decide you don't want to be in the competition, you must do so before the first chapter of the competition goes up, so I can have someone fill your spot who wants to be in the competition. There will be a waiting list after I get to ten people, and then if someone drops out before the first chapter, you will be on. I really don't want to have a big waitlist.
Each chapter, you will provide us an excerpt from one of your stories. If you have one that's super good, do not use it at the beginning. They are good towards the end. You may use an excerpt from the same story, but maybe not from the same chapter. I will let you know if I'm going to allow that. Then, the readers will vote for their favorite excerpt, and tell us how many votes they want for that contestant, up to 30. As a contestant, you can't look at the reviews, you can't tell people to vote for you. Also, there is no bribing. The only writing that will be accepted is your own writing. Also, there will be themes.
If you receive the least amount of votes, you may get voted off. If you are voted off, I will recommend a few of your stories to the readers, so you will still be noticed. The second place winner will guest star on Good Morning Oz. However, there is a save. You will either write a mini-paragraph or answer a question about Wicked or The Wizard of Oz. I will determine that once you get to that point. The save can be used on anyone and everyone who is at risk of being voted off. Here's the catch; I can use the save only once for anyone who may be voted off. I may not use the save if you get to this point. The first time you risk elimination; you may or may not be saved. The second time, if you were saved the first, you will be voted off for sure. Whoever is voted off first is the assistant judge.
