'Tick-tock-tick-tock'

Damn it. It's half past seven already. He told me that he'll be back at six, but...

'Tick-tock-tick-tock'

What an awfully annoying sound! Will you please stop already?! Don't you see that I'm waiting for a liar who can't even keep his promise?!

'Ring-ring'

God, what's now?

"Ea's speaking here. Who's there?"

/"Uh, hi. It's me-"/

My eyes widened. "Damn it, Landkarte! Where the hell are you-"

/"Err, sorry for not coming home in time. Got a little trouble here..."/

...what did he just say? "Don't tell me that you're arrested by cops..."

/"N-no! I didn't! I didn't ride your motorcycle, anyway."/

"So...? Your point is...?"

/"Uh, well-"/

I looked at the clock. It's a quarter to eight. And he hasn't return yet. "Speak now. Or else, I won't open the door for you."

/"What I want to say is..."/

/"What he want to tell you is 'he got an accident on the way home'."/

I blinked. "Wait, why're you there also, Zehel? And-WHAT THE HECK DO YOU MEAN BY ACCIDENT?!"

Someone's taking a deep breath there. Zehel, maybe? /"I'll explain to you when you're here. Come to the hospital near the park now. We're there, with this brat's hand broken-"/

"I hope you won't mind if I give him a long lecture, Zehel."

/"Nope. Not really. This brat really need a lesson, anyway."/

I can hear Landkarte's pouting shout before Zehel ends the call. I pinched the bridge of my nose while walking toward my bedroom's door to take my precious jacket and white scarf.

I really can't leave that guy alone, can I?
