Ino's Pov
"Damn i cant believe im late again" I open the door and rush into my class receiving glares from iruka. I put my head down and head to my seat next to sakura.
"Your late again ino im surprised iruka didnt kill you." I just nod and pay attention to the lesson. Suddenly there is a knock at the classroom door the hokage steps in with his hand on a young boys shoulder. The boy was dressed in black head to toe. He looks around but stops looking when he sees me. He continues to stare at me until the hokage slaps him in the back of the head.
"Naruto introduce yourself." The boy nods.
"Hello my name is naruto uzumaki it is a pleasure to meet you." He then takes a seat in the back of the class and we all turn around to pay attention to the lesson.
30 min later
I look at the clock and realize its almost time to go. Suddenly i feel as if someone is staring at me. I look around to find the new boy naruto staring at me. He stares at me intensely i then realize his deep blue eyes and begin to blush. I wave at him but he stares at me as if he is in a trance. The school bell rings and i look around not realizing what happened. Then i look over to where naruto sat and find him gone. Brushing it off i go to find sakura who is also waiting for her parents. "Hey sakura." She turns around and smiles at me.
"Hey ino." I smile and we begin to talk.
"I cant believe i was late again, i thought for sure iruka was gonna kill me." We laugh and suddenly it begins to rain we both hurry underneath a nearby tree to stay dry.
"So i noticed the new boy naruto was staring at you. What was up with that ?." I shrug my shoulders.
" I dont know but it was kinda creepy he just kept staring at me." I then remember his deep blue eyes and begin to blush.
"I think he likes you and by that blush i think you think he is kinda cute." My blush deepens and sakura laughs.
"Do you think he's cuter than sasuke ?" I go to answer when her parents show up and she runs to them underneath an umbrella.
10 min later
"Come on dad where are you ?" The wind suddenly blows and i get a cold chill, i rub my arms to try and stay warm. Then i feel something wrap around my shoulders, i look to see a black leather jacket. Turning around i see naruto standing behind me smiling.
"You looked cold." I blush and nod.
"Thanks i appreciate it." He smiles and suddenly the rain begins to slow down and finally stops.
"Would you like me to walk you home ?" Smiling i nod. We begin to walk when three figures block our path. I notice there headbands and determine them as genin.
"Well well well if it isn't naruto our favorite punching bag." They all laugh and naruto pulls me behind him.
"Ino stay behind me. You guys know i thought it was the other way around. Seeing as you three can never land a single blow on me." The three genin scowl and pull out some kunai.
"Today that changes as today is the day you die demon!" They throw there kunai at us but naruto deflects them with one of his own that i didnt even know he had. He then throws a kunai high in the air and does some hand signs.
"Shadow kunai rain jutsu!" The one kunai becomes man and descend on the genin. They block a few but get grazed by some.
"Do you surrender ?" They glare at him.
"Never. Plus for hurting us we'll also hurt the girl behind you since you seem so fond of her." Naruto tenses up.
Just for that im going to show you what real pain is you pieces of filth." He then dose some hand signs and inhales.
"Fire style: Fox Flame Barrage!" Fire balls head towards the trio and burn them horribly as they were to slow to get out of the way. The fire subsides reviling three badly burned genin.
"Damn you demon lets see you try to dodge this one." The genin does some hand signs.
"Earth Style: Great Plate Shi-" Before he finishes his jutsu the genin is knocked unconscious by naruto who i didn't even see move.
"You idiot that jutsu would have leveled three blocks and would have killed you in the process." Naruto throws him to his friends.
"Get him and yourselves to the hospital and dont attack me again cause next time i promise i will kill you." He then spikes his KI. They run away and naruto turns to me.
"Ino your bleeding!" He points to my cheek and i reach my hand up to feel the shallow wound.
"Oh so i am oh well it will be gone in a couple days." Naruto smiles and walks over to me he then kisses my cheek making me blush. Suddenly i feel my cheek tingle .
There all better." I look at him puzzled i then feel my cheek to find the cut gone. I then go over to him and kiss his cheek making us both blush.
"Thank you naruto." He just smiles at me.
So shall i walk you home ?" I nod and we begin to walk. We arrive shortly
"Well thank you naruto for walking me home and for protecing me from those genin." He smiles at me and nods. We then say our goodbyes and go our separate ways. I smile as i walk inside.
"Defiantly cuter than sasuke." I remember the kiss he gave me and blush. Looking around i find my dad passed out on the couch. Walking over to him i shake him awake.
"Huh what time is it ?" i just shake my head.
"You were suppose to pick me up today dad." He just nods and apologize to me.
"So how was your day ?" I smile.
"Well i was late for class again but iruka didn't kill me thank kami, and then we got a new kid today by the name of naruto and he is super cute dad. The only down side is he kept staring at me in class as if in some sort of trance." My dad looks at me shocked.
"You said his name was naruto." I nod my head and my dad sighs.
"Yeah and he's super cute, even cuter than sasuke. I especially love his deep blue eyes, plus he defended me against some genin." My dad just continues to looked shocked.
"I wish i could see him again." Someone then puts there hand on my shoulder i turn around and see naruto there.
"Ask and you shall recieve." I blush when he pulls me to him.
"How much did you hear ?" He just smiles.
"All of it ino-chan." He then kisses my cheek making my blush deepen.
"So naruto looks like you and me need to talk." He nods.
"Ino i need you to go to your room while i talk to naruto." I leave them but hide around the corner.
"So naruto is it her was she chosen ?" I listen puzzled.
"Yes inochi it is her." My dad sighs.
"Well its about time someone was chosen but know this if any harm comes to her i will kill you." Naruto just laughs.
"You know that will never happen inochi goodbye." Suddenly i feel someone kiss my cheek.I turn around to see naruto.
"Goodbye ino-chan." I nod and he disappears. I then turn to my dad.
"Dad what did you mean i was chosen ?" He just smiles and places his hand on my shoulder.
"You will have to ask him that tomorrow." I just nod and smile at him remembering the kiss naruto gave me.
