Our Job

Not everyone knows what it means to be a Spirit Detective and this poem will tell you. I at least think it's a poem. I'm not good at writing poems so it may just be a thought.

Before someone can become a Spirit Detective they need to die first

How it matters and why it matters to become a Spirit Detective,

Why it matters to be human and not a demon for the detective to work,

Is you have to let go of your earthly relationships and wander into the battle

Some think we are crazy because we are different

Some say we are not different...

We are just like the things we try to put to rest

Some call us crazy from the way we turn into Spirit Detectives...

To be fit with it we must know shooting energy beams,

Killing,

Chasing,

Finding,

They are all parts of the job

No one picks the job...

We can only do it to help the normals,

We are no longer part of the norms,

We are society's retribution.
