Hello! This is a collab story between me and my best friend! I hope you enjoy it!
"Hello, my name is Molag Bal and…why are you all looking at me that way? Its not like I am going to…"
"Molag, I highly suggest you leave..."
"Azura, I want to join in on the mayhem,"
"Leave!"
"Fine, you are no fun…"
"Anyways, welcome mortals. This story is the main reason why we don't travel to your world, although my less…dignified siblings may have visited your plane."
"Less dignified! At least I am not the one that…"
"Mehrunes Dagon, you mention that incident one more time and I'll rip off all your arms and feed them to the clannfears!"
"I guess Molag wasn't kidding about your temper-"
"-You N'wa!"
It was a bright sunny day, the perfect day for a picnic in the lovely town of Dunesville. However, few of the denizens of the town were enjoying the delightful weather. Rather, they spent their time in the brand-new convention center, which was hosting a convention. There, people were supposed to meet others with similar hobbies and learn about them, but a few of the attendees seemed to have gotten off track…
"Take that, you slimy mud-bag!" A girl in black clothes cried, swinging around a padded play-weapon she had bought earlier in the day. The boy growled and attacked in return, a crowd forming in the Live-Action-Role-playing arena to watch the rambunctious two mock-battle.
"You better get ready to die, you jerk! You are going to lose!" The boy called back, swinging and hissing as the girl ducked.
"Funny, a daedra said that to me once and look! I'm still here!" She countered, swinging the yellow padded weapon to counter-act each attack.
"I bet the daedra-thing was a lot prettier than you," He goaded. She lashed out, nearly managing to catch him along the arm. He pulled away just before she could land a hit and backed away, swinging the padded play-weapon in a loose circle.
"Less talking and more fighting, you pansy," She laughed as she leapt forward and started swinging again.
"Gabrielle, that's enough! Come over here!" Even without looking, the battling girl knew who was calling her. She could already imagine the girl tapping her foot and staring irritatedly at her back. So, to hurry to her friend, she improvised. Instead of blocking as she usually did, she sidestepped, whacking the boy playfully on the arm when he lunged forward. He yelped and backed away, looking miffed.
"I win, so go home and cry to mommy because you lost to a girl!" She said with a grin. His miffed expression melted away as he grinned back at her. After a quick wave to the small crowd, she turned around and walked over to her friend standing outside of the crowd.
"Not a very good Dark, are you? Getting into fights and such," The girl asked wryly.
"I think I am fine Dark-san, Terra-chan. At least people recognize me here," Gabrielle playfully joked, checking her own purple wig again. The wig didn't budge, to her delight.
"Stop calling me that! It doesn't matter if they recognize me as some character from a game or not," The girl huffed, handing Gabrielle her bag of stuff she had bought.
"Fine, Teresa. Whatever you say. But your wig is falling off!" She answered, reaching out and helpfully adjusting her friend's black wig. While she had decided to dress as Dark from D. N. Angel with his short purple hair and black phantom thief costume, Teresa decided to create her own dumner costume. Before, she was a wiry short-haired girl with blue eyes and a smile. She still had the smile, but her hair was replaced with long black hair and she was dressed in a long elvish styled gown. Her face was painted just like the dumner and managed to get red contacts; which only managed to turn her eyes purple.
"Thanks Gabby. Now, what I was trying to tell you was that the Wii opened up and they are playing Brawl, if you want to beat up some hard-core gamers," Teresa said with a grin, her friend's brown eyes quickly brightened at the thought of beating more people at her favorite competition. Gabrielle was supposed to have purple contacts to finish off her costume (Which was created by Teresa because Garbielle couldn't make her own), but one of her random fears kept her from getting them.
"Let's go!" She crowed excitedly before dashing past Teresa and into the crowd of people wandering the convention hall, clutching the plastic bag with her items close to her chest to keep herself from hurting the people around her. Teresa shook her head as she followed the girl into the swarms of shoppers, buyers, gawkers, and cosplayers.
Hircine stared thoughtfully at the runes inscribed on the wall of the dungeon, considering the work he had put into creating it. The runes were old; he had to steal old tomes written on scamp skin from Azura's own library in order to find them. The runes were in a circular pattern, lines connecting each word to each other and to a circle in the center. He clenched his hand, knowing what was necessary. The final ingredient, the last of a line of cultivated plants sacrificed by his followers in Morrowind and the screams of victims he used to help charge the runes.
"At last, the ability to create a gate, right to the land of Vvardenfell…" He hissed, puncturing his palm with his spear. He heard sudden rushed steps and turned. One of his hounds galloped in, panting with his tail between his shuddering legs.
"Mi'lord, Azura is here and is coming now!" He panted, his hackles raised when he noticed the strange symbols etched onto the wall.
"Stall her…" Hircine hissed, the hound nodded its head and galloped out. Hircine turned again and pressed his bleeding palm against the hot wall. The copper lines he had drawn on the wall began turning blood red, zooming to the runes. He heard his hound howl and hurried footsteps that were almost drowned in the werewolf's howl of pain. Just as he heard Azura storm in, all the runes turned blood red and a bright light enveloped him.
"You're too slow, Terra-chan! Hurry up! C'mon, I want to win again!" Gabrielle called, waving giddily from the booth where she turned in the card hanging around her neck for a chance to defeat other opponents. The man sitting at the table and a few boys that had been occupied with the Mariokart Wii game nearby stared at her in annoyance. Teresa sighed irritated and hurried forward. Then, to her surprise, she saw a shimmer in the corner of her eye. When she looked, someone plowed into her, knocking her onto her back.
"What the…" Teresa groaned, sitting up and seeing who had run into her.
