A long time ago, I made a story titled "Love stories written in the middle of the night"(Best if that was read to understand all of this story). People asked for me to write a sequel, or if they could make one themselves. From what I know, they never did. Recently, something inspired me to write the sequel, so here's one from the receiving end, based on part 2 of the love stories. If you guys want me to make one for the first part, review or message saying so, and I'll do what I can.
"Sorry Temari, but if you could just finish of this paperwork tonight, it would do me a lot of help."
The blonde looked at her red haired brother. "At least you said sorry this time," she sighed.
"Except this is going to be an all nighter, so I want a day off after this."
Gaara looked at her with dark eyes. Emotion wasn't his strong suit. "Alright. Althgouh I'll need you to go to the Leaf within a couple of days. Have a good night then."
She took the folders and struggling, opened the door. "Yeah, whatever."
If she was going to do this, then she would do it in a place that would relax her.
Opening the balcony in her room, she sat down and put the documents on the table and got out a pen.
"Well isn't this going to be troubles–"
She stopped herself before she finished the sentence.
Sighing, she took out the first piece and began.
"Stupid lazy-ass has gotten me into saying it now. Even when he isn't around he annoys me."
Looking around, Temari made sure that what was being said would be used against her later on.
Blushing slightly, she continued.
"Stupid legal documents," the Suna girl groaned. She had been at it for an hour and was not even close to halfway.
"Anything would be better than reading this."
As she approached the middle of the pile, something flew towards her in the distance.
"Messenger bird?"
The hawk-like creature landed on her balcony's rail, a scroll attached to the bird.
"From the Nara family?" She eyed the scroll curiously before opening it slowly. Creases could be seen on the sheet, as if it had been crumpled and thrown before being sent.
She read it, slightly uncomfortable at each word that followed.
"How are you? It's been a while since we last talked …." She read aloud.
"I've tried to write this for so many nights, but in the end I just throw them all away..."
"Can't show you my feelings because I'm afraid of what you'll think..."
She looked at the last sentence and slowly put the piece of paper down.
"To see my love letter written in the middle of the night."
Biting her lip, she did her best to hide the blushing from herself.
Picking up the creased paper, she walked over to the balcony, and read it again. Doing her best to hide the smile within.
Coming to Konoha this time was awkward at best. Reading the letter just before she arrived didn't exactly help.
"Hey."
She turned to see a young man looking half asleep staring at her.
"What happened to you?"
Shikamaru yawned. "You, you troublesome woman."
She smirked. "What do you mean? Were you writing more love letters in the middle of the night?"
That woke him up.
"Wh-what?"
Temari took the shocked man's arm as they began to walk the streets of the village.
"How did you? What did...?"
She kissed him on the cheek, a way to shut him up.
"How about you buy me dinner?"
When he could react properly, he chuckled, realising the new situation he was in.
"Tch, whatever," he replied, smiling.
"Just don't expect me to do lunch."
Temari laughed. "What? You buy two meals?"
"You couldn't even send me a letter."
End.
