Author's note: I thought it would be fun to write about the Hardy Boyz, my favorite wrestlers.
Chapter 1: A Promise is Forever
Jeff and Matt Hardy were in the locker room packing up after the match was done. Everyone was going home. Jeff placed his hand on his back and groaned. Paul Wight Jr., came in when he did that.
"Sorry about that. I guess I slammed you too hard" he said. Jeff turned to him.
"No worries. That's what you chance going into wrestling" he replied calmly. At that instant, Matt had finished changing. They both said goodbye to Paul and headed to Matt's truck.
"Hey Matt" Jeff asked.
"Hmm" he said.
"Do you remember that promise that you made" Jeff asked.
"The promise that I'd always be there for you" Matt asked. Jeff nodded. Matt smiled as the memory played back in his mind. When they reached the house that they both shared, they took their bags and dumped them in each of their rooms. Matt checked the cabinets for food and found very little.
"Where the heck did I put that" Matt heard Jeff say from his room.
"Jeff! I'm going to get groceries. I'll be right back" he called. Jeff sent back an alright. When Matt got home, Jeff was playing videogames. Jeff finally got mad at the game and turned it off. He was still mad when he went into the kitchen.
"What did you get" he growled.
"Hey don't get mad at me because you lost your game"
"I'm not mad at you"
"Yes you are"
"Yeah now I am"
"For no apparent reason"
"NO APPARENT REASON? YOU'RE PISSING ME OFF"
"You're pissing ME off" Matt screamed. Jeff walked out of the house and slammed the door. He went for a walk in the woods. Little did any of them know what was going to happen next. Something hard came down on Jeff's head and he went out like a light. Meanwhile, at the house, Matt decided to go look for Jeff. He reached the spot where Jeff was when he found Jeff's cell phone on the ground with no Jeff. Jeff, on the hand, was just waking up.
"Where am I" he asked. He got no answer. Matt ran a hand through his hair. His heart broke into a million pieces. His brain was telling him to scream and cry, but his heart told him to find Jeff before it was too late.
"Don't worry baby bro, I'll find you. A promise is forever and I intend to keep mine that way" Matt said to no one. He was scared to death for his baby brother. He was numb allover. The pain was increasing. He had to find Jeff in time. Jeff was his responsibility.
