-1The white wave
The night was still and all that could be heard where the quickening foot steps of a woman dressed in white. She was lucky that the moon was held high and proud in the sky. For this night was the perfect night for her escape through thick wood. The moon illuminating everything silver, and yet there where still shadowing areas that she could hide.
She had to make her escape at any moment that she could take and this clear winters night was beautiful, but yet deadly. The long white chiffon dress that she wore when she first got captured in this terrible place, couldn't protect her from the icy wind that captured her breathe and hurt her lungs. For her to die young, she wasn't afraid. But for her to die alone in this cold and desolate place, would burn her soul for all eternity. She had to make an escape or die trying.
As soon as she had arrived in Middle Earth, she had been taken. Her parents had warned her of the dangers of being away from the class, but she wanted adventure. She didn't want to spend her days resting by the spring, and falling in love with a centaur like most of her nymph sisters had. She had been naïve and didn't care about the dangers, and now all she wanted to do was go home. Somehow she had made it this far, she had no idea of how far she had travelled and she had no idea of how to get home.
Guinevere finally stopped as she came to a wide stream that she had to cross, for once in months as she was held hostage she saw some beauty before her. The water was her home, it was were she thrived. She sank down to her knees to cup the freezing cold water, it stung her sore throat as it slid down through her thin body. The realisation of her situation quickly came flooding back to her, her adrenaline had to keep her going she couldn't stop anymore until at least she could find somewhere safe to be. If anywhere was safe for her, their was no body she could trust, she had no one that she could call friend and go and seek help or find warmth and solitude.
She was for the first time, in her life time, well and truly alone. Even when she had abducted their was still somebody around, mainly the white wizard that she hated. Oh how she hated him. He hadn't disgraced her but she knew that he intended to, that's why he had had her in what she was wearing.
Finally she heard the Orcs coming for her. She knew that they would soon catch up to her, she finally had to bear the brunt of the freezing cold water. She waddled though and up hoping to find some darker places in this forest. She knew that there was no method to her madness just somewhere to hide to escape them, she knew that they where afraid of this forest. But she would rather face what ever lied in this forest then submit herself to the torture that she new would be awaiting her.
She hoped from stone to stone hoping that they would hear her, because she would be spotted easily in the white dress.
She didn't make it very far!
"There she is lads! Get her!"
Ordered the leading and most biggest Orc!
Panic filled her heart with dread, but she wouldn't give up as the blood rushed to her ears. Her body was fuelled and pumping and that was all she needed, she hopped, skipped and jumped and she giggled a little and even dared to turn around to see how the orcs were doing. She didn't need to because she could hear their falls and cries as they waded on though the stream with big weapons and bulky armour. This was almost to easy.
Until….
Guinevere
