It was once a beautiful night, after the Etoile election. Amane and Hikari were both cuddled up in their own embrace.
"We're both Etoile now, huh?" Amane asked.
"Yeah... it's kinda hard to believe, though, since I gotta get used to all the work we're both gonna do."
"I know, right? Shizuma even convinced me to become Etoile, although she's the one who's supposed to be rooting for her school..."
"Do you even know why she did that?"
Amane blushed slightly, putting her hand on her back, "Well, she said that the Etoile will receive something anyone else could rarely receive. So I went in for that, and received what Shizuma mentioned; in other words, I received you, my love.~"
Hikari blushed darkly, "R-Really?!"
"Yeah, really~." Amane winked.
Blood flooded down from Hikari's nose after she heard that statement. "Oh..."
A worried look was planted on Amane's face, "Hikari, you okay?! You're nosebleeding!"
"Wait... I am?!"
"Yeah!"
Amane quickly got her handkerchief from underneath her pillow, and wiped the blood off of Hikari's nose. "Oh, you~"
"What? I barely even see you flirt with me~."
"So?" Amane started to sound seductive, "Does that mean you like me flirting with you~?"
Hikari blushed darkly, again, "...Y...Y..es"
"What~?"
"Yes, okay?! Geez."
Amane giggled, "You sure are like Nagisa-chan~"
Hikari roasted Amane, "And you sure are starting to become like Shizuma-sama."
"...Okay" Damn it. Amane thought.
There was a long silence between the two, until Hikari interrupted. "Amane-kun?"
"Yes, love?"
"I have one request for you..."
"As long as it doesn't involve embarrassment, then sure. Why not?"
Hikari hesitated before staying her statement. She then blushed slightly, "C-Can you please... sing for me...?"
"What...?"
"Can you sing for me, please~?"
Amane sighed, and got off of her bed to face Hikari "Sure, Hikari. Just give me a sec."
Hikari looked confused but felt relieved inside, as she watched Amane get something in their closet.
"Hikari, you may have never seen my one hidden talent, but I will show it to you right now." Amane said, grabbing her acoustic guitar from the closet.
Hikari gave a wide-eyed look, "Y-You play?! I mean, you play guitar?!"
"Hehe~ yeah" Amane giggled.
"And what song do you plan to sing, dear~?"
"Well, let's just say that it's a song that you would hear at grandma's~"
"Okay...?"
Amane started plucking the strings on her guitar, playing a sweet melody. She started singing:
When the night has come~
And the land is dark~
And the moon is the only light we'll see~
No, I won't be afraid~
No, I~ be afraid~
Just as long~
As you stand~
Stand By Me~
And darlin', darlin' stand by me~
Oh stand by me~
Oh stand, stand by me~
Stand by me~
If the sky that we look upon~
Shall tumble and fall~
And the mountain~ shall crumble to the sea~
And darlin', darlin', stand~ by me
Oh stand by me~ Oh stand~ stand by me~ stand by me~ yeah~
And darlin', darlin' stand~ bye me
Oh stand~ by me Oh stand~ stand by me~ stand by me~
Whenever you're in trouble won't you stand~ by me~
Oh now now stand bye me~ Oh stand by me~ Stand by me~
The song now ended, and Hikari broke in tears of joy. Amane looked confused, but then realized that Hikari was actually very happy.
"Amane-kun, that sounded beautiful!"
Amane blushed a little, "Thank you, Hikari~."
She then put down her guitar on her guitar stand, and pushed Hikari down on the her bed. "Now what shall we do~?" She asked seductively.
Hikari blushed, giving Amane a seductive look, "I dunno. You decide~."
Amane gave Hikari a passionate kiss, stoping time that instant.
Maybe that song meant something, after all.
