I sighed as I walked down the crowed and narrow market street in Konohagakure. It had been nearly a month since the Akatsuki attacked Konoha and I still couldn't breathe when I thought of...
"Yo! Hinata!" Oh crap! There he was only a few feet away from me. Naruto-kun was headed this way! I felt the heat rush instantly to my face as he drew nearer to me. He stopped only inches away from me.
"Are you not feeling well again, Hinata?" Naruto asked me as I urged myself silently to keep on my feet.
"Uh, I'm feeling okay Naruto-kun. Why do you ask? I replied cautiously as I flipped my long raven colored hair behind my ear. Heat still rushed to my face as I kicked the dirt with my foot and tried to avoid eye contact with him.
"Are you sure about that, Hinata?" He took my chin and lifted my face so he could look me in the eye. My heart was racing faster and faster and I felt the very air in my lungs begin to diminish.
"I'm sure, Naruto-kun." I was still trying to avoid eye contact with him until he suddenly said,
"Look me in the eye and tell me you're okay, Hinata." His voice sounded sharp and worried. I forced myself to look into his eyes and as I did I felt my body go numb and my eyes silently close. The last thing I saw before I blacked out was Naruto-kun scrambling to keep me steady and balanced in his arms.
"So... Warm..." I mumbled as I passed out.
