Summary : What if 9/11 never happened? Claire tries to find her daughter but will she find her?

Chapter One

Claire had told Mac about the daughter she had to give up.

Mac asked " Want to find her together?"

Claire replied " That is a good idea sweetie.".

Mac hugged Claire knowing that together, they were gonna try and find Claire's daughter, and it made Claire hope that they would find her and make up for lost time.

Claire just hoped that her daughter would want to know her and to find the truth about why she was given up but all Claire could do was look at the only photo she had.

Mac knew that they had to do everything they could in order to find her no matter what it took for them to find her.

Claire knew the name she had given her daughter and she knew that she might not be called it anymore.

Mac asked " What name did you give her when she was born?".

Claire replied " I called her Lexi Louise Conrad.".

Mac looked at the photograph Claire showed him of her daughter.

Neither Claire or Mac knew just how close Lexi really was as Lexi had been seeing Don Flack for three years.

Don asked Lexi " Is there one thing you really want?".

Lexi replied " Yeah, I want to find my birth mom.".

Don nodded then replied, " I'll help you sweetheart.".

Lexi knew that Don would help her to locate her birth mom.

Mac looked through the file that Claire also kept and he said " Her adoptive parents kept the name you called her.".

Claire was surprised to hear that and said " So what happens now?".

Mac replies " We'll find Lexi now.".

Claire nodded then replied " I hope we can find her.".

Lexi had given Don the file that her adopted parents gave her when she was 16 years old.

Don saw the name and said " I know her.".

Lexi then asked Don " How?".

Don then admitted " Her husband is my boss at NYPD.".

Lexi was surprised by what Don had just said about her birth mom Claire.

Will Lexi and Claire ever come face to face at last?
