IMPORTANT:Set in Harry's Fifth Year, Cho's Sixth. I don't own HP. Unfortunately. Anyways, I know this is kind of short but there will be a much longer chapter two, I promise. This is a one-shot in two parts involving Cho and Draco. Not very canon, right? Well, I really enjoy using Draco and Cho is a new challenge for me. I hope I portrayed her well. I know she's sort of generic in the books anyways so I'm not too worried, but let me know if there's anything I can do to improve for part two.

The corridors of Hogwarts were eerily empty as Cho made her way to the Great Hall for dinner. She stared at the Christmas decorations that twinkled solemnly, as if they knew no one was really enjoying it. Cho sighed. The lonely holiday vacation ahead was depressing her. Even Harry, who she was banking on staying, had gone home to spend Christmas with the Weasleys. She really needed to talk to him after their kiss. She was so confused.

A week before final exams for the semester began her father informed Cho she could not come home. While her mother was busy sucking up to Umbridge and her posse, money was tight. Cho would be just another mouth to feed in addition to her two younger brothers. She felt abandoned.

The handle of the Great Hall doors, that usually glittered so cheerily, felt unwelcoming under her hand. She took a deep breath and entered the sparsely occupied dining room. No one in Ravenclaw was even there. The spread of food seemed pointless with no one to eat it. She sat down and poured herself some pumpkin juice. As she sipped from her cup and picked at her food she was aware of a body sliding in next to hers. She sputtered into her juice when she realized who it was.

Draco Malfoy was messily eating a plate of food and drinking from a goblet sparkling with emerald and silver. He set down his fork and dragged from his cup. He slid a glance Cho's way as he downed the contents of his goblet. He leaned towards her and giggled, forcing a grimace onto her face. Cho instinctively leaned away from his breath reeking with alcohol. He snatched her arm quicker than she would've thought possible for a drunk person. She struggled to get away from him, but he wouldn't relent.

"Lisssen." He tried to whisper, "I know, I know you like that git Pahhher, but I could-" he giggled into his goblet. "show you an even better time."

Cho reeled in disgust at his suggestion. His warm breath brushing across her hair made her shiver. She had to get out of the Hall. Twisting her elbow from Draco's grasp, she scrambled over the table bench and rushed through the wooden doors. She leaned against the wall just outside the Great Hall and soaked in the realization that Draco Malfoy wanted her.

As Cho weaved her way through the deserted staircases up to Ravenclaw tower she heard uneven footsteps falling behind her. She quickened her pace and hoped it was just a coincidence but she knew deep down it wasn't.

After climbing up stair after stair, she stopped to catch her breath and looked around to find she was not anywhere near her common room. In her haste, she had forgotten to turn down the West corridor and was now near the base of the astronomy tower. She heard Malfoy chuckling and calling after her. 'Howinthehellhashefollowedme?' she thought to herself as she tried to devise a plan. But she was too late.

Spinning around, looking for a swift escape, Cho was stopped by strong hands on her shoulders. She remained immobile for quite some time as Draco's hands clumsily massaged her neck and back. Realizing she couldn't stay like this all night, she released a breath she did not know she was holding and danced away from his hands.

"Draco, I'm flattered, I really am bu-" Malfoy's tongue in her mouth pushed the words back down her throat. Nothing could've prepared Cho for the intensity of the kiss. His lips ate at hers and his teeth scrapped her lips. He had what Harry had been lacking: passion. Passion like she remembered from Cedric. But she pushed Cedric far from her mind as she closed her eyes and leaned into his welcoming body.

AN: Review if you would. I'm really struggling with part two, not flowing too well. Suggestions would help!
