Long ago I killed,
for men.
I killed the one you loved,
without thinking of what he was saying.
Then I met you.
You who were drunk that night,
tried to teach me something.
I didn't listen,
and so you are gone my love.
You told me that I could live,
without killing people.
Yet I didn't listen.
Now I regret that I didn't.
I wish that you were still here,
with me.
Not in the after life
waiting for me to come back to you.
We ran away,
and I fell in love with you.
Yet I didn't realize that what I wanted,
could only come to pass by bringing life into plants and sharing it with
you my love.
You taught me that.
I didn't realize it until then.
Now you are gone.
Gone because of me.
I loved you yet I believed that you had betrayed me.
You left to save our lives.
Not destroy them.
I'm sorry my love.
I want you here with me.
Not in the after life.
Now I realize what you were saying.
But I deserve to be dead not you,
for I took the life of your first love.
I destroyed you my love.
For that I am sorry.
I will always cherish you my love.
For you loved me.
I wish that you were still here with me.
