The sun was setting and the blizzard was getting worse. The ice on the sidewalk seemed much more slippery than usual. She could barely see the lights of her destination. She could no longer feel her hands, the cold air being too much for the only part besides her face being exposed.
She ran as fast as she could to the door and knocked as hard as she could to get the owner's attention. She could hear a barking sound from behind her as she waited for him to answer the door.
"Elsa!" And just like that she was immediately pulled through the doorway of the house by her one and only friend, Jack. He swiftly pulled off her coat and pulled her into a warm embrace.
Awe, he cares she thought to herself, slowly accepting the hug. She was freezing and in need of warmth. She didn't care if he thought it was weird. She rested her head against his chest and listened closely to his heartbeat.
"You're freezing. What the heck were you thinking? Going outside in a blizzard like this... you idiot!" Jack said before pulling away from her and pushing her towards the warm fireplace.
"I f-forgot to give you your present..." She pulled out a small box and handed it to him, only for it to be tossed up against the wall. She was pushed down to sit on the couch and was wrapped in the thickest blankets her friend had.
There was a long silence before Jack asked her, "Why are you here?" It came out in a slightly rude but sweet tone at the same time. He sat next to her on the couch and took her hands in his, trying his best to warm them up.
She only leaned her head against his shoulder and shifted closer to him.
There was another long silence when he moved his head to look over at her. She sat up straight and gazed into his frosty blue eyes, which were soft and sincere.
"I... got something for you..." he said as he searched through his pockets for her gift. He pulled out a small light blue charm and another which was deep blue. He handed her the small snowflake before pinning the deep blue one to his shirt. "It suited us, so I got two to match..."
She smiled and pulled a plain necklace from her pocket and hooked the small charm to it. "Mind helping me?" she asked near silently. He took the necklace from her and slowly pinned the two sides together. She could feel his warm breath on her neck as he did so, sending a chill down her spine.
He noticed how close his lips were to hers and slowly leaned closer to close the space between them.
A/N: Sorry for the cheesyness, I just got bored and did... whatever you call this. This is my first post, so please don't judge too harshly...
