P.S. This chapter will begin like a fairytale beginning (almost) and the other chapters will be P.O.V.s and narrations.
Chapter 1: A Tale As Old As Time
Once upon a time, in the land of Pirates and Wizards, lived two Captains, half Pirates and half Wizards. Once, the mother had given birth to two beautiful twin girls. Sadly, the firstborn sister was not pleased with the arrival of her new twin sisters. But cheer still remained amongst the others. On the day of the twins' first birthday, the mother and father gave special gifts for their daughters. The gifts were necklaces. The first necklace for the first twin had a six-pointed star with seven gems in it, symbolizing the seven Magic Schools of the Wizards. As the father put on the necklace for the first twin, he spoke:
"Savannah, I believe that you are destined for great and magical adventures. And I believe that you will become the greatest wizardess the Spiral had ever seen."
The second necklace for the second twin was four-pointed star with five gems in it symbolizing the five Battle Schools of the Pirates. As the mother put the second necklace on the second twin, she spoke:
"Elizabeth, you bravery and strength will soon be to your advantage. I know that soon, you will be able to defeat any darkness, with your trusty crew of course."
Two years had passed and the twins had grown. Their life was amazing. Sadly, all of that had to come to an end… A tornado created by Morganthe, the Shadow Queen had destroyed the ship where the family was.
And what fate had come to the twins? For a long time, nobody ever knew.
But eleven years later, the twins had returned. And then they became someone they wouldn't expect to be. A Wizard, and a Pirate.
Savannah, the older twin, became a famous Sorceress. She and her friends The Team were known throughout the whole Spiral. Especially in Marleybone. Savannah and her friends were known there as Savannah Rose and the Honorary Detectives. In her childhood, Savannah had always dreamed of being a detective (and a wizard), but she didn't know of the dangers back then. But even with obstacles in her path, she knows that when she and her friends work together, they can do anything.
Elizabeth, the younger twin, had followed in the footsteps of her parents. She became an amazing Privateer. She was raised by Admiral Nelson, who was then known as Captain Nelson. She became friends with (mostly) Pirates from different worlds. Elizabeth loved being a Pirate! Sadly, being a Pirate made her do the biggest mistake that anyone could ever do. She began a war with her biggest enemy, the Clockwork Armada, against her home-world: Marleybone. Sadness fell upon her and her crew The Protectors. But she knew that to end her mistake, she would have to end the war. And she knew, that with her trustworthy crew, they would finish what they accidentally began.
Two different girls, two different legends, same goal: saving the Spiral.
