The only thing on Mark's mind was Jasmine. She had perfect hair, a beautiful smile, and eyes brighter than the sun. The best part was that she loved him back. It was just too perfect to be true. He and Jasmine had been together for months now, removing all doubt that this was a seasonal crush. He would wake up just too see her and his dreams would be about her. It was perfect love.
The only thing on Luke's mind was Amy. Flawless hair, along with a sweet smile and dazzling eyes, Amy had always stood out to him. Over the course of the year, they had become friends, and Luke wanted to keep it that way. No one needed to know his feelings. Being friends was fine with Luke for the time being. But the hard part to swallow was that she didn't like him. She liked some other boy, more popular than Luke, and it was definitely unchangeable. One thing Luke had learned: 1-sided love was worse than death.
