The Secret
To most it is known that Harry Potter alone stopped the Dark Lord... But they are wrong, only 4 knew that another stopped Voldemort and those people are and were; Sirius Black, Minerva McGonagall, Albus Dumbledore and Fritz Flitwick. And they all knew that Harry did not only have the Dursleys for family... He had a sister a younger sister named Ame or Amethyst Potter. During the Dark Lords attack she was hidden just 3 months old in a cupboard under the stairs next to Harry, The Avada Kadavra curse went through the cupboard and she survived as well. When Rubeus Hagrid came to pick Harry up he only knew about Harry and left poor Ame in that cupboard until Fritz Flitwick (professor Flitwicks wife) came to clean up the Rubble and found poor Ame. She took her home with her and decided to go visit Dumbledore praying that someday Ame would be reunited with her brother Harry someday. Soon after cleaning Ame up a bit Fritz quickly went to find Dumbledore to tell him what had happened. Minerva McGonagall and Remus Lupin were in Dumbledore's office when Fritz walked in with a very small baby girl in her arms "Oh Flitwick!"I didn't know you had a baby!" exclaimed McGonagall while walking up to the baby and stroking her head "her name is Ame but she is not my child she belongs to the Potters, I don't know why they never told us that they had another child..." she was saying this all very fast due to the frustrated state she was in. "Did anybody know about this?" whispered McGonagall obviously shocked, "No, I think that since they knew that Voldemort is"everybody gasped but Fritz continued "after them so they obviously thought that she would be safer that way" When she finished a dead silence filled the room and the only sound that broke the silence was the bird outside and the soft breathing of everybody in the room. "Well what are we going to do with her" inquired Remus speaking for the first time and obviously choking on his tears "I mean should we leave her at the Wizards Orphanage?" He finished quietly eyes still wet with tears "I suppose" Those were the deciding word for the rest of Ames life she was to be sent to a wizard orphanage where she was taken quite good care of despite the overcrowding, she made quite a few friends due to her happy and care free attitude and happy nature. One thing that Ame couldn't wait for was Hogwarts the place of her dreams for she knew that it would be the greatest experience of her life. Little did she know that is would also be the start of a new life.
When Ame got her Hogwarts letter she was sitting in her room doing her homework of course since she was very studious. The owl fluttered onto her desk hooting softly "What a beautiful owl" She thought while removing the letter from the owl's leg. She opened the letter and read:
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to Hogwarts school of Witch craft and Wizardry. Term begins of September 1rst and you are to ride on the Hogwarts express for platform 9 and ¾ at 11 am. Your list of needed supplies and reading materials is enclosed.
She read the letter over and over in her mind; finally after years of waiting she was going to Hogwarts. Little did she know that a young Harry Potter was getting his Hogwarts letter as well and would be beginning his second year at Hogwarts.
