Chapter 1
"Reevaluating"
Tokyo,Japan
"Kimiko it's been quite awhile since you been to that Xialin Temple you like so much...is something wrong sweetheart?" My papa asked as he looked up from his computer in his office, where he was trying to work on a game program for a new installment of "Die Zombie 3".
I shook my head in response remembering the incident 2 weeks ago where I lost a match to Shadow, a evil female Heylin warrior who works under Chase Young.
As I was defeated my friends wasted no time in scolding me for losing the showdown and how I needed to improve my fighting skills as well as my temper in order to win next time which got me irked.
It was really nothing new especially with Omi's sexist comments about how women have a different duty than being a warrior but on this particular day I was in no mood in hearing it as I bit my bottom lip and stormed off.
Ping Pong tried to stop me and apologize later that day but I simply ignored him as I packed my belongings to head back home to clear my head which I did after getting permission from Master Fung.
He said he understood how hard it would be for me seeing in the only girl but it's nothing that can't be done seeing I came a long way since three years back.
He also told me to take the time I need in order to grow stronger which I have since I been taking karate classes as well as martial arts in Japan.
But still as much as I get mad at the guys I can't help but forgive in the end since they're really nice and fun to hang out with, so I decided maybe it was time to head back home and help kick evil Heylin butt...
"You know what Papa I think I will be heading back to the temple tommorrow if that's fine with you?" I asked as I saw him smile gently.
"I have no problem with that my little Kimiko but still I will miss you my little girl" he said as he came over to hug and kiss me.
I smiled and hugged him tighter.
"Thank you Papa!"
But little did I know I was being watched the entire time.
