Charmed H20 - Deleted Scene

Prue shivered as she stood there on the beach, her eyes looking out on the water which was far enough away she wasn't in danger. Her sisters had managed to persuade the children they wanted to go to sleep. They didn't know how long that would last though so they had to figure something out, and fast.

Prue's mind was so full she didn't notice the car pull up the drive. However, she heard the door close and turned. She watched a woman in a bright red top and a black skirt walking up the way. The woman was walking forward. She couldn't have been more than twenty-two or twenty three years old.

"Hello," the woman called as she motioned for the kids to stay in the car. "I'm looking for whoever is in charge?"

"That would be me," Prue said as she placed her hands on her hips. The woman walked forward and for some reason Prue was stuck by a sense of déjà vu.

The girl looked like a younger version of herself. She had the same pale skin, the same dark hair, the same determined facial expression. However, it was the eyes that were different. They almost reminded her of Piper's eyes. They were brown, caring, and soft.

"My name is Paige Matthews. I'm with Social Services. I was wondering if there was any free space for two young boys?" Paige asked and Prue sighed, knowing what she had to do.

"Sorry, we're full up. There's not a single free bed open, M. Matthews," Prue said, feeling like a Bitch.

"Damn," Ms. Matthews muttered in that same disgruntled tone Prue herself used when things didn't go her way. "Are you sure? They won't take up much room."

"I'm positive," Prue nodded. "I'm sorry about you having to come all the way down here. I wish I could help but we have too many campers as it is."

At that exact moment Prue spotted Samuel. He'd been walking towards her but he'd stopped when he saw the two of them together. His face had paled.

Ms. Matthews, as if sensing something, turned around and looked at him. "I know him from somewhere," Ms. Matthews muttered to herself but Prue still heard. There was something ominous in the tone that made her question it.

"What?" Prue asked, knowing fate was up to something.

"He looks familiar," Ms. Matthews said as she turned back but as soon as she looked at the lake she shivered the same way Prue had earlier. Then she looked at Prue once more. "So sorry about disturbing you ma'am."

"No problem, excuse me," Prue said as she watched Sam walk away quickly. Prue began to chase after him. Ms. Matthews stood there a few seconds longer, she felt like she should have known them, like they were calling her.

She just shrugged off those feelings and walked away but that eerily meant to be feeling in her gut didn't ease.

If she would have stayed a moment longer she would have witnessed Leo orbing in with Piper and the letters. She would have seen Magic but instead she hopped in her car and headed back about to get reamed out by her boss. If she would have done the paperwork like she was suppose to this wouldn't have happen.
