The Housedog - Prologue
It wasn't a long time ago... A month, maybe? However it feels like it's been forever...
Just a normal day for us all. I came from school, and went straight to the feodal era to gather the shards of the Shikon jewel. Me and long with my friends; Miroku the monk, Sango the demonslayer and her pet Kirara, Shippo the kitsune... And Inuyasha, the dog hanyou.
And we had a battle. I first thought that great, we will get a new shinkon shard, and this will be over in a matter of minutes as Inuyasha was about to do the attack called "kaze no kizu". But what happened...
- Kaze no... Inuyasha strated and lift the huge sword from ground, swung it, but suddenly threw it away as the demon he was aiming suddenly turned at me and strated running towards me. - KAGOME!!! Inuyasha cried out in a shock and rushed to me, grabbing me and running away from the beast. It came after us, and after Inuyasha had carried me for a few hundred meters he stopped and dropped me off.
- Kagome, you stay here and be quiet, it wont see you, I promise, Inuyasha told me and hid me inside a bush. He took my hands and held them for a while. He was very sad, I could tell it from his ears that were drooping. Did he know about what would happen?
- Whatever happens, Kagome, you dont move, you dont let out a sound, 'kay? he told me and I nodded. After a while the demon came, and Inuyasha scurried away to attack it...
That was the last time I ever saw him. I have no idea what happened. In a matter of minutes they both, the demon and Inuyasha, were gone. Maybe Inuyasha had led it away from me and the others, and then finished it off somewhere...But why hasn't he returned? We have been looking for him for all this time, crying out his name and asking everyone about him, but nobody has seen him, nobody has heard about him.
Maybe all I can do is to try to figure out where is he, and what's happened to him. Is he still alive? Is he wounded? Where is he? What happened? All I can do is to try to figure it out and look for him. No matter the school. No matter if my body cant take it. No matter wherever he is, I will find him.
