This takes place after Scott is killed by Jean in the 3rd movie. The Song is from Here Comes The Rain Again by the Crüxshadows and is in italics.

Storm stood on the balcony, eyes white as she called up a raging storm. Her sadness and greif blocking out the cold of the rain and wind as she gripped the railing tighter. She didn't notice Charles as he rolled out into the rain until he was right next to her. Without a word he took her hand, squeezing it gently between his own.

"It will be alright, Storm." He whispered softly, brushing his lips lightly across her hand. She held back a sob at the comforting gesture, trying to resist the urge to break down.

Charles pulled her closer as the rain soaked them both through to the skin.

Storm looked down at him and felt the tears fall at the sadness in his eyes that mirrored her own.

Charles gave a final soft tug and pulled her onto his lap, wrapping his arms tightly around her.

"I'll help you get over his death, if you help me." Storm whispered into his ear as her arms went around his neck.
"I will, my darling." Charles answered, burying his face into her neck as the two of them cried over their fallen friend, finding comfort in each other's embrace.
