Hello everyone! This is another Kyoru fanfic that randomly popped into my head. Hope you enjoy =)
When they first kissed, she was unconscious.
Kyou was fully aware of that fact. After all, she was on her back, covered in her own blood. She wasn't moving, nor did she make a sound.
At least until he started crying.
He didn't pay much attention to the tears. He knew that he was a complete jerk. He shouldn't have said what he did. But he did anyways.
She was semi awake. She had lifted her hand shakily towards him, wiping the tears from his eyes.
She told him "It's okay."
But he knew it wasn't.
Even so, she still told him that she was fine, when she clearly wasn't.
He could tell that she was weak, mainly because the sound of her voice. He could barely even utter those simple words.
"Don't speak."
And it was at that moment when he kissed her.
When she was out of the hospital, she ran from him. He wouldn't let her go this time. And he knew that she didn't want to let go of him either. It was in the way she ran.
She didn't want to hear anything from him. She thought he was going to tell her that he hated her. That he didn't want to see her anymore.
But that's not what he wanted to say at all.
He told her everything. About how he felt. Even though he knew that he had messed up, he said the words anyway. And he wasn't sure how she'd respond after he told her.
"I wanna be with you! And only with you. I don't want anyone else. Because I'm in love with you!"
Within those few moments, he lost his breath. He didn't know what was going to happen.
And then she finally said. "I can be with you?"
He smiled and told her that she could. And when she asked about holding his hand, he replied "You're already holding it."
Tears of joy streamed down her face. She had raised her other hand to her mouth, trying to stop the sounds. But instead she felt his hand cover her eye. It trailed down to cup her cheek.
He leaned in, and kissed her.
It's more like a drabble. But meh.
I wanted to write about this for quite some time. It's as canon to the manga as possible. I didn't quote the whole thing word for word. I left a few things out.
