"Mom asked me when you were coming over again." Henry said as he entered. An aggravated sigh was his only answer. He frowned. "I thought you and Mom were happy?"
"We are, I think. I guess? I don't know!" Henry raised an eyebrow. It reminded the Blonde of Regina, which made her smile a little. "You're Mom is confusing me, kid. One moment she's all sweet and romantic and everything and the next-" sigh "- Let's just say that she's annoyed or angry. I don't understand it and I don't really know how she sees this, how she sees us, you know."
Henry nodded, understanding exactly what his blonde mother meant. "I know, but you have to understand that all Mom's relationships have ended badly-"
"And mine haven't?" The boy rolled his eyes. "Of course, but you know that Mom really believes that she can't be happy. She believes that if she gets serious with you, something's going to happen and you'll get hurt or disappear."
Emma nodded sadly. "I know, kid. I'm trying, but it's hard. Sometimes I have the feeling that she's going to give up on us and it scares me. I just can't loose this. I finally found my family."
The kid hugged her. "You won't loose us. I promise. I love you, Ma!" The blonde smiled. "I love you too, kid."
As they broke apart, the sheriff suggested, "Why don't we go surprise your Mom and take her out for dinner?" The teen grinned and nodded excitedly.
It was a perfect night that everyone in the Swan-Mills family enjoyed.
After a while the insecurities of both the Blonde and the Brunette faded and their relationship became so perfect, that both sometimes wondered if it was even real.
Not long after that they decided to expand their family and had a beautiful baby girl, which they loved deeply.
Both the former Evil Queen and the Savior had finally found their long deserved happy ending.
