One Hundred Voices - Rest one's head on a person's lap
The 100 themes challenge - writing edition. Number 19.
A very tired Rook can't even back it to his bed. So, he staggers off to find another place to sleep.
Couple - Rook x Ruko
Rated - K for fluff
A/N - So I decided to do the 100 themes challenge. They're suppose to be drabbles, but you know me. CB Well, they'll be under 1,000 words, hopefully. Anyways, they won't be in order, but I will post what number they are on the list. The couples will, of course, be random and stuff.
3 Happy reading!
DISCLAIMER - I don't own VOCALOID/UTAU or the themes. I only own the text on this page and only that.
"Nn..."
The male UTAU barely makes it to the front door. God, that damn pink Chimera wore him out big time. He was looking for a playmate alright, but he probably could of chosen someone with less energy. All Teto wanted to do was run around the park, and she would of guilt tripped him if he didn't. Rook dragged his feet along the carpet, making it to the stairs.
Looking up, the male groaned. Damn it. It took at least three flights of stairs to make it to the UTAU section of the mansion. Why was the mansion so damn huge? Another groan escaped his lips as he dragged his feet to the nearest place - the lounge, a place where most of the VOCALOIDS and UTAU hung around; playing games, talking, reading or simply sleeping.
When he reached the room, he noticed that there was one person occupying one of the couches - Yokune Ruko. Rook blushed a bit before shaking his head. Ruko and Rook where close, really close. They were always together. Quietly, the male walked in the room without Ruko noticing. She was drawn into her book to notice anything.
He sat on the couch, staring at her as he sat Indian style. The hermaphrodite picked up her cup of coffee and began to drink from it before putting it on the coffee table. It was then that the VIPPERloid noticed her companion. "... Oh, Rook!" She seemed happy to see him, but then looked concern; he looked way too tired, even more tired than her. "... You OK?"
Rook leaned against Ruko, yawning. "Nn... I'm tired." He mumbled in her ear before nuzzling her neck. The other UTAU blushed before glancing at him. She moved an inch, and that's when Rook fell on her lap.
She squeaked, "Rook, are you OK-" Looking down at him, she couldn't help but chuckle. The male was asleep, his head on her lap. He curled up slightly, snoring lightly.
Ruko chuckled again, stroking the male's hair with a soft smile. Man, looking at Rook was making her tired (Then again, most of the time the UTAU was always tired). She stretched slightly before reclining the seat gently, trying not to disturb her fellow UTAU's sleep. Not that Rook would wake up anytime soon; he was worn out, too worn out, to even noticing Ruko's position changing.
Ruko stroked Rook's cheeks gently before leaning back in her seat tiredly. She yawned, covering her mouth with her gloved hand before closing her own eyes. Her body sunk into the cushions gently, and both of them were asleep.
Namine Ritsu had been looking for both Rook and Ruko the entire day, mainly because he was absorbed in his Pokemon game as always. The male asked the people who knew them well and eventually, he did find his way to the lounge.
"Hey, Ruko-" He stopped, looking at Rook, who had his head in Ruko's lap, then at Ruko. He smiled softly before leaving the room, not noticing the small smiles planted on both of their lips.
Aaah. I'm actually in a huge writers block at the moment, which is why I haven't written part two of my ACute story. Hopefully, this challenge will help me. Anyways, thank you so much for reading this - it really means a lot to me~!
