Elrond Earendilion. Peredhil – Half-Elven, with the blood of the Houses of Men mixed with most of Elvendom coursing through his veins. His family had, perhaps, given a new meaning to the term 'integration'.
Yet it also brought changes, joy and heartbreak, to his personal life.
Now, another change unravels before him, as the new King and Queen of the Reunited Realms kissed, rejoining the sundered Houses of Beren and Luthien. He smiles through his tears as joy and heartbreak once again wars in his weary heart. He knows his days on Ennor are numbered now, and resolves to cherish them.
