It was a cold and dark night. There was thunder, lightning, rain, and wind. Shou was terrified. But not because of the storm outside. No, he was afraid because his roommate was not back from his meeting, about the seven stars, yet. It wasn't like Judai couldn't handle himself. he could just fine. but SHou was still worried.

Shou decided to finally confess to his love, his roommate, his friend, judai. he had deep feelings for the brunette since they're first meeting, but never got the guts. until now that is.

'Where is he?'thought Shou. 'what if he got lost and is wandering around in the dark rain...'He quickly dissmissed the idea, knowing better.

two minutes later when shou was about to fall asleep, he was brought back by a loud 'creak' of the door opening.

'thank Osiris!' shou shouted in his head with relief.

"hey Shou? You still awake? I want to talk to you..." Judai said quietly as to not awaken their other roommate, Hayato.

"hmm? Aniki, is that you? what time is it?" asked shou sleepily (A/N is that even a word?)

Judai smiled at his little friend's cuteness. "it's 11, now are you awake enough to have a conversation with me?"

Shou just mumbled a quick "yeah" and was now siting up on his bunk. as much as he could, considering Hayato made a big dip in the top bunk.

Judai just stood there in front of Shou with his eyes covered by his bangs. "I love you" Judai stated.

At this, Shou's eyes went wide, his mouth moved open and closed. "what?" he whispered. 'seriously WHAT? did he just say those three simple words that I was having trouble with all this time?'

"I. Love. You. and I have for a while now. but it just seemed like a strong friendship. i didnt know until i thought really, really hard about it.

Shou was still wide eyed. and Judai had a look of hurt in his eyes at his friend's reaction.

"I...Love you too, Aniki."said shou. still a little shocked.

At this Judai Smiled brightly, as if he'd just beaten the king of games and now WAS the king of games. he had never felt so happy in his life.

"ano...does this mean we're a couple now?" asked Shou sheepishly.

"Yes. Of course Shou, and we'll tell the rest of the gang tomorrow, but now we should get some sleep. and i think you should let this sink in more. your eyes are still as wide as my fried shrimp plates!" Judai replied jokingly.

they woke up next morning feeling refreshed and on cloud nine (A/N i've actually been on cloud nine, it is better than they say it is)

A number of years passed, a number of events passed, but they never lost their love for each other.
